Hi Cru » I'm really happy here that I'm not particularly familiar with genres. I'm probably stupid enough to just always consume music happily 1:1. So: it's Halloween and I got goosebumps: Bravo!!! Masterful!
I tried listening and reading through the previous comments of this one at the same time. That turned out to be impossible lol. Really cool track man, I especially enjoyed the quiet intro actually. The way you bring different transients in and out of the convolution (at least I assume that's one of the things you were doing there lol) was incredibly delicate and very effective. You constantly kept me on my toes, I was never sure exactly where you would go from one moment to the next. Well done!
Well, all I know is, when music is this good! genres go over my head. This is filled so many different sounds it's wonderfully hypnotic in a way so much so I felt like I was instantly hooked running through a musical maze & at every turn I was tuned into another piece of musical art, now that's what I call ~sound painting~ the vocals on this are truly wonderful also so, thanks for the journey Maestro there is only one Cru & no one does it like you Bravo!!!
i saw the devil! and the human centipede too!! this is more like it!!
i’ll call the ‘a24 horror’ of looperfam halloween tracks! even if i don’t reference anything but trash!
It's always a real pleasure to stop by and get a master's class from you on these Halloween challenges. Jebus man, this is so good from the first note in the intro to the very last drop. I always know I'm not only in for a sonic treat, but some subtle tricks as well on your Halloween offerings. Really, really well done. And that mix is about as crisp as it gets. Outstanding effort and thanks for showing us mere mortals how its done, haha. I hope all is well brother.
BEAR!!!!, always a pleasure to hear from you mate. This one came together rather quickly as I realized I had not yet made something for this year yet. I was keeping a tradition alive. All is good, I hope all is well in your neighborhood!
Wow whats going on here , you guys take it easy hahahah.
I will call it the crucethusbounce and i like it.
Love that scary intro and how you build it up.
Well done mister.
Just have fun with your music!!
Lol, don't worry too much about the egoclash, in the end, men always resolve our differences and move on. I am glad u liked the intro. I always have fun with music ehh?
Always know Im in for a sonic treat when I press play on your tracks - beautiful start, very cinematic/ atmospheric and then it slides into a jungle of beats and dark rhythms and evolves into a kind of very cool dance track before transforming again, with so many variations I feel like I can choose my own adventure ... I still have no idea what phonk is - but this is great : )
Thanks, if you want to learn about the history of Phonk, Oldgoon will tell you. DISCLAIMER: ( I am only using elemental ideas of the music and not the whole genre to create stuff like I normally do) I don't want there to be any misleading ideas /S That out of the way my next song will be labeled either "get of my lawn" or "Soundcloud sucks" anyhow rant over, main loops used in the "groove part were." wait for it: From looperman back in 2021:

Thanks for listening and your warm and inviting comments.
I hope I haven't embarrassed myself too much,,,,,lol
bending the rules mate, the first section is very thought provoking, soft and calming, then we get the joker letting of steam, great vocal, love the delay with reverb the percs and one hits are great love that female groove mate, great outro sequence. great mix Cru its epic creative and fresh
Thank you, it's a little strange in that it starts out epic and then hits you with that groove, and then finishes how it started. Halloween tracks you can get away with more creativity and rule-bending.
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
