Nice Johnnie, flow and vibe, the vocal is on point, I always enjoy listening to your tracks, that git is fire bro, I know you work with a producer but I'd happily give your vocals a try, tell your boy I'm pilfering for scraps, seriously bro no pressure, if you fancy, give me a shout, might write some music and offer it you I'll also put the instrumental to salty up in my tracks I no you said you would like to here it call it reflection but not for ,24 hrs though
Anyway great work again bruh
Paul, first of all thanks for the love! This producer allows downloads for free with a tag as you've probably noticed. Blacklionzbeats on beatstars.com you can find it there... This was a beat in his guitar style beats its the sole RnB one. You can certainly give my vocals a try from any of my tracks. Much love. If you write some music for me I'll give it a go. it takes me sometime to write the lyrics.
Just saw your soundcloud gave you a follow on there. Most of my music is on my soundcloud profile. If it would make your life easier I could send you the instrumental to this. I'll be on the lookout for Reflection.
Another nice one J. I guess it's just a matter of preference but for me the highlight was your guitar work in the background. Really tasty licks that nonetheless supported the vocals without overwhelming them. Respect!
I like your beat picking skills. Your flow reminds me of rapper "The Grouch." Spoken word element to your style with storytelling added. Nice work man.
This is another hotshot! track from you once again, are you rapping these lyrics off the top of your head or do you write your lyrics down, I'm asking because sometimes when I hear a track the lyrics just come to me and I do one takes off the top of my head, didn't always find that easy but with time it's become like second nature especially if I'm vibing with the track.
Your lyrics are brilliant! they make you think & your delivery as I have always said is so fresh & laid back. TOP! Work here indeed.
The one thing I like about this time of the month is because of Easter holidays & I get a little free time from work to breathe & with all that's going on, this was a breath of fresh air. Keep it up.
Angelus, thanks for getting in early om the comments and taking a listen. I agree it's a hotshot! I never go off the top of my head. Sometimes I'll be writing a verse then I'll hear a beat, and I'm like "ohhh that's the one!" For this one I got lucky I was laying a verse down and I messed up, and the hook came to me.
Usually it's all written out. This was my first track of this style, im hoping the producer makes some more beats like it.
Enjoy your time off. Thanks for all the love.
And remember it aint no vacation with out a in your hand/... I hope that's okay to say.
