I'm a huge fan of guitar lead and you sir are excellent. To top it off the tempo changes were so smooth and highlighted the entire track. This is the stuff I love to listen to.
Doom I obviously missed this first time round, this is a ballad to my ears and senses the guitar work is stunning the acoustic, bass, and the star of the show the electric lead the 808 is bone shaking with dissedence and reverb and the beautiful keys sing to my heart along side that stunning solo guitar this is a masterpiece in sound exceptional listen and a fav
bringer, nice, rich, and full acoustic entrance. The electric guitar sings with the acoustic and then the electric solo. Great arranging. Bass and drums provided solid support and the piano is wow. I really liked how you balanced this out with the delicate subtleties you baked in. Well done and faved.

Thanks. MINOR2GO provided a couple of the backing parts (the acoustic and piano, you should check out his loops, there are thousands). I played the rest.
Baked in is literal for guitar tone. I like to do very little in post other than deal with perceived loudness.
I'm trying to remember where I was when you posted this.
I don't know how I missed it then.
This track has all the classic DofB tempo and key changes that
make all your music so interesting.
However the Guitar work is totally exceptional.
Sounds like you were totally engaged.
I'm digging your guitar tone brother, reminds me a bit of Santana at times. Nice playing, you play with a lot of heart and passion. What is your guitar setup? Excellent mix, everything fits very well. Keep bringing it, I look forward to hear more of your work. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, its an old ibanez 7 string and a boss me80 pedal, which is also my soundcard for recording via USB.
The setting are a little preamp, variable overdrive (via whammy pedal), with a little reverb and delay. I mix it in till it sounds right then use an amp as the pedal output and turn monitering off, which helps with the latency issues, though the tracks still has to be slid over a little afterwards. All the lines are improv.
Thanks for listening and commenting.
I'm trying to figure out how one would work vocals into this...
I'm looking sideways, into the abyss, trying to [find] a way.
Ya know, some things should not be tampered with...buuuuuuuut...
I don't know any better. Lol
My crazy brain is like....there's no where to jump in there...and i'm like...look sideways...you don't see ANYTHING??? LOLOL
I enjoyed this very much!!! :-)
Well, it's more up to the singer where the space is. I can make a backing track if you want (I made this one this afternoon) then you can sing whatever you want and I will fill in the rest, up to you.
What u got here my boy? Feelin that bass line already. Dang hells yea my kinda rock! Piano guitar is brillant. You went to your creative hat on this. Slow down is perfect.
That santana guitar sound shhhhh fire!!!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
Description : when i was a kid you could go down and buy acid drops at the dairy - sour boiled sweets....vox, guitars and keys by me. Bass a LM loop by megapaul.

Great track. (Glad I got to hear it) Faved.TTYL
PEACE...
I probably should leave a track in "featured" for longer, but I make them to fast, so they get maybe 50 listens before the next one is out.
There are others on this site far better at marketing than I am.
I'm going to make videos for this kind of stuff soon, just not sure yet, still mulling over ideas.
Thanks for the listen and comment.
