Description : I decided to try something I've never done before. Record and mix a track live! I premade some samples and MIDI sequences that I could trigger at will (I had to have the vocoder and strings ready). Then I got a friend to come around to help mix it live and help out with some tricky trasitions and some in-session resampling of my vox.
It took 3 attempts, but I kinda like the result.

Real unique track. Has a dark and mysterious almost sinister vibe to it. Vocals are perfect and extremely well done. I'm getting a lot of film noir feeling from it. Would work nice as a theme to something like American Horror story. I dig it TA.

    Hey Neomorpheus.
Thank you for your kind words. I agree that it has a sinister vibe. I don't think it's dark enough for AHS though. The latter half seem a little more hopeful, in a ttrippy kinda way. Still if they offer me money, I will not be turning it down :p

    Thanks for your comment, man.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. The track was a good catharsis for me. I got a lot of emotions out that had been sitting with me too long. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I used a Ouija board and a spirit box. However, it took me ages to get the place exorcised; now I can finally sleep without hearing Folsom Prison Blues emanating from the walls :D

Thanks. I think it worked out quite well. But I probably wouldn't record the same way again. Took almost as long as recording it the normal way.

overall a really good track, man. I don't comment much when I know it's a bad song in general, however cheers. Would definitely like to remix it.

Thank you for commenting. I'm glad you like it. Remix sounds cool. I can upload an acapella, not sure how I'd get other stems as I recorded the instruments to only 2 tracks (1 for drums and 2) for all the other synths).

    Hello damonb.

Thank you for your heartfelt response. I'm glad that the song resonated with you. I agree that you should not compromise your vision when making any kind of art. But I
also upload my music here to get opinions from listeners. I often get suggestions will make my work better (like turning something up or down in the mix, or tweaking the EQ). This doesn't change the overall message/feel, but enhances it. As long as the comments are constructive, rather than destructive, they are all valuable to me; they are part of my learning.

    Thanks again,

Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : Many of you know well that Tumbleweed & Orlando collabs are pretty much well established tradition within LM society by now, and here is the newest example to reinforce that tradition. It's probably the last this year (yet never take it for granted) and I think it has (although not particularly intended) a bit of that seasonal celebrative nature, thus fitting quite well into this festive feel of December. Despite providing it's share of melancholic tones (you can bet who is responsible...haha...) it's a quite happy tune overall...and it doesn't bite, so you're all most welcome to listen and comment !... As always my sincere thanks to Ed !

Description : I was inspired by 2 looperman loops created today and came up with this track. Thanks to the following:

Description : Fellow looper TRE24 also known as T2 offered this chill hip-hop beat for collaboration purposes. Somehow it grabbed my attention although I've never been involved in anything hip hop based and so I decided to do my take on this one with probably totaly un-hip-hopish approach by smuggling in some quite classic orlandesque material...but it was quite fun making it...All my thanks to T2...:)

Description : The spring is in full motion over here and I guess it helped me quite a bit to complete my part of the job on yet another exciting collab with maestro Tumbleweed. Most of our collab works contain at least some aspect which demonstrates something out of ordinary one or another way. This time we got a peculiar combination of mysticism and merciless attacks of soapiness (my bad....haha)....So let's listen to hear whether I'm right or not!....:) As always on such occasions, all my thanks to Ed !

Description : So much better than the original, check it out if you like smokin' music, enjoy!
