Description : Spoken word - melodic talking - redneck hiphop - dubpop - I dunno. This song is part of "The Love Offensive" where I'm writing a bunch of simple, direct songs around the theme of more love, less hate. Just going with the flow of my natural weirdness. Orchestration is 5 loops from rmce, thedarkflamemaster, bosni, rasputin1963 and blackmansta10. Please let me know what you think.
Description : Donald at its best!
He tries with rock. Has he achieved his goal?
Description : sampled the squeaking gate at a cottage in the national park - and manipulated and layered the results then added other manipulated samples to build up the track. If you listen closely you can just still hear a crow shortly before the reading of the poem - Surge 9 by Jay Bernard
Description : Shades of HipnoSis is Sexy! Shades of HipnoSis is romantic, soulful, hip hop & R&B. It's also very poetical. He's talking about how this sensual female put him in a trance. After the initial lyrics,
Kamal let's the groove ride so you can ride with it. Enjoy the female neo soul voice on the hook as well.

My Guitar and Harmonica - both treated
Reading of Poem Softly by Aaron Kramer
Main beat is a drum loop, with a kick added and one sample - all manipulated
Other versions had more percussion but not needed I think
Description : Vst instruments (drums, synths, sax, keys, vocal fx from exhale, bass) and multi tracked slightly random guitar (in A flat) and feat some cut up readings from the work of Kurt Vonnegut
Description : Spoken Word with Rhythm. It's a song about dedication and being there for the one you love. People can easily say what they are going to do but not really mean any of the words. I learned a hard lesson in that today.
Description : I was writing another type of track and this "Spoken Word" I ran across kinda hi-jacked the track. At least I'll have the Genre right this time.
Description : I think of this as "melodic talking" rather than "spoken word" or "rap", but I always struggle with what to label my stuff. The music is drum and voice, very basic. Mixed using Audacity (not in the list).
Look back to your forebears, look ahead to your children and their children, and that - that chain of generations - is your river - of life, of DNA, of blood. It's a potent metaphor for me and I keep trying to capture it in a song. What do you think of this one?
Description : Hi there! Well, this is a track for the phatkatz4's Halloween Track Challenge [https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/183960/halloween-track-challenge]. Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...

Description : This is the first beat I made which were assembled around the vocals... lol, and please forgive my half ass attempt at dubstep, I'm just learning how to work it... if you didn't know by now, I'm more of a hiphop guy but I appreciate other genres a lot.

I'm kinda getting a Johnny Cash vibe from this, great listening here indeed, very creative.
This is an excellent Spoken Word track. It sounds like a raw reflection of what's just under the emotional surface, and I think that's what Spoken Word should be about. I can almost hear a Johnny Cash cadence that just makes it even more enjoyable to listen to. Thanks for posting this.
I always love the unique and difference whatever it is ... but its something special.
I really like this.
I can imagine my favourite artist of all time (Tom Waits) doing this.
Sounds excellent.
The only bit I'm not keen on is the tantrum toward the end ... I've lost nothing!Nothing nothing nothing!
Doesn't suit the very emotional and masculine vibe.
I'd be interested to hear this again if you do any tweaking, so let me know if you do :)
Weird... Original... New genre right here?
I don't know what to think of this.
I like it.
"Nothing, nothing, nothing" I would add some fx as is fades.
"I've lost nothing" I'd add a big single kick/boom just after that, i'd fit somewhere around 2:00, in my head it sounds reverberated.
I think a few "cinematic" addition would make this much more.
Listen please
