Description : I wrote the chorus to this ten years ago. The other day I was doodling around on the piano. I can't remember how the original verses went, but I still liked the chorus. So I wrote new verses and a bridge and orchestrated the thing. I wanted to share a mock-up vocal so you can hear the words and melody; but the only mic in the house is attached the headphones my husband uses for gaming. So, the quality of the vocal recording isn't super awesome--but at least you can get the gist. This is a retro ballad in 3/4.

I haven`t had much music time lately...but I just had to log in to leave you a big WELL DONE on this one cellar door...your vocal reminds me a bit of Karen Carpenter...a good song, well delivered and accompanied outshines any of those little technical/production issues that may concern you..and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this production..you have a nice warmth to the vocal & those mic limitations don`t seem to matter...this is in fact better that a majority of the vocals I hear posted...I would much rather hear the natural dynamics & expression than a squashed/limited to death version...great job...this one is a keeper (write it down somewhere)....Fav,,....Ed

Vlad Vikernes (Burzum) used an xbox mic to intentionally get a horrible sounding vocal on his recordings, thought of that with your description :p Beautiful...
