Description : So, I started this morning. I had this idea in my head: I wanted to make a song that starts in 3/4, and transitions to 4/4. I thought it would be great for a 1-hour push. I got the song done in about 54 minutes, still had 6 more, so I mastered it to the best of my ability. I had to stop at 1 hour, of course. So I did. I apologize if it doesn't sound to great. Anyhow, It's short because I wanted it to be short. I just wanted to exemplify the idea I had, that 3/4 to 4/4. Hope you all like it!
Had to absolutely DESTROY those drums, though.
Note: This isn't ACTUALLY Drum and Bass, but Looperman doesn't have IDM so it's the closest thing.

Description : 180 BPM ambient drum n cell. Melodic electric cello playing over dnb drums (all fast except for one 30 sec section). Drums are all manipulated loops. No acoustic drums so also no cymbals, just for a change. Various synths, plus some interesting sample-based sitar parts in the second half. A fun, far out track that feels like it should be deeper and better. Let me know what you think, good or bad.

This is some pretty powerful stuff and very good for only one hour.
Compelling, kind of pretty intro. Good soundtrack music, actually.
Then some massive bass and distorted, crunchy percussion. Sounds like a fat, very fast d'n'b groove might drop. But it doesn't.
Good to hear you're working on a fuller mix as this is well worth pursuing. Master isn't bad though maybe it's a bit too loud.
2:41 nice arp outro. In a fuller version, perhaps the fast d'n'b drums drop after 8 bars or so of that outro arp and then we're into the second half, with perhaps the first 3/4 half returning in 4/4 time.
