Hey Man, i have been wondering how to make dnb, does it has to do with the bpm and fast break?

EtherBlu 29th Mar 2015 12:10 - 11 years ago

It begins with the wonderful soothing orchestration and as soon as the vocals are introduced, The song becomes magical.! I loved that Bagpipe/Sax element in the middle used as a filler. Overall a beautiful DnB track. Mix & Master is Decent. :)

Great Stuff Steve!

P.S: I would request you to upload 1 more version of this song without DnB beats.. just the vocals & that soothing orchestration in the bg.. if possible! I think it will turn out to be a great vocal chillout track :)

Best,
EB

Hi Steve!
You really have your own unique sound and I'm a big fan of it already. This track is no exception - enjoyable all the way through. My favourite part is the third section where you bring it all together with the rain pouring down in the background.
And I love the d&b drums and bass!

Cheers and take care/ SJ =)

steve010101 replied 27th Mar 2015 - 11 years ago

I'm glad you liked it. I love to compose tracks using female vocals -- nature sounds will always find their way in too. This leads to a dreamy/escapist energy that I just love to play with.

Kind regards,

Steve

I thought this was pretty good.
Love the bass sounds and the acapella sits well.
I appreciate the sounds of nature incorporated in between, something that I used to do in the past as well.

God bless bro. - B

steve010101 replied 26th Mar 2015 - 11 years ago

Thanks for the kind words. I always somehow find the need to get sounds from nature in my tracks. I've edited the track quite a bit since your comment, so I hope you enjoy this revised version.

Kind regards,

Steve

it's just that d&b loop that i don't really like

steve010101 replied 25th Mar 2015 - 11 years ago

Yeah, the loop is a bit 'empty', if that's the right word. It needs more variation and body. I'll try to replace it when I find the right sounding one.
