a day older than a year yesterday!
lol

listening to this... and then thinking of .. you know.. impromptu and nightglow (which is one of my favoritistest songs ever)... you have definitely grown a lot...
hah

that's pretty cool.. hearing this with fresh ears...

something i was thinking with claps on the offs, with down floor bass, and hats,.. is how it has this stepping rhythm...
been listening to a lot of american country music lately, and trying to capture a gallop...
i like how you have that here.

well

anyway sahin... sorry for the double-review....
If it was me, I would make this atmosphere more massive!!!
totally losing the chill-out factor completely, and just making this solid track your bi-otch.
soo much clarity and space, love the synths, but drums and ambience could really benefit from more layering?
(this tracks prob. gone anyway huh?)
anyway man.. sorry i have been a d*ck

Everything flows together.
Its really good
:)

I do agre with salkizar, i wish there
was a pad somewhere...but I guess
simplicity can be relaxing as well
:)

Hey, thx. I dunno about it being chilling yet, it has these upbeat drums, but kinda ambient melodies make it smooth. So i just called it chill out..Btw it has a lil string patch on the second part..but i wouldn't call that a pad

I love this track a lot, but I'm not sure about the bit that comes in at 1:11 ish, the second [or third] note just doesn't sound right and it could do with some delay or reverb, the pad is perfect but maybe a bit quiet other than that a very good track with great production. Keep it up.

Avail replied Unknown
Thanks, I'm not sure about that but i don't think delay would do any good and reeverb would only add some more air not fix it. About the pad you may be right too but i didn't want it to drown other sounds. I'm glad you took your time to listen and review :)

I think it sounds pretty sweet! I can easily see a sweet pad coming in and the notes for the 2nd part sound funky to me, maybe just me. I love the drums though, especially the hihats! All in all it's a really nice chill track.

Hell yah!

...

I feel bad dude... All I want to say is Great track.

Tho, yes maybe it is missing something atmospheric. It could really add to this, and maybe take it too the next level.

Love it!

LOL Abe
I'm really looking forward to it too but don't feel bad :P
Well yea everybody's telling me about atmosphere but i wanna keep it minimal. You know what? I uploaded that trance demo i sent by mistake instead of that piece.LMAO

PS. Really cool pic you got ^^
PS1. Heard the cheap ass loops i sent over?

My style of music... :) I like the dissonant melody a top the appegiated sound along with the building pad. If you want we should collaborate. I think around 1:25 I would have added a little more... I guess you could say complicated beat? Eh I don't know how to explain it. Other than that very well done!
Avail
Avail replied Unknown
Thanks Holly! Well i'm obsessed with simplicity so usually complicated beats are no-no for me :P

And I'd love to collaborate with you. But I don't have much free time on school days...But yea.Let's go for it, it's not like we are in a hurry, right?

I like it dude! What I would like to hear in there tho is a pad fading in to give it some atmosphere, with a nice soft melody on it! It would really get chilled out then...Think it could be a lot more than what it is right now, dont know if you're finished with it yet tho..? But if u are then it is still really good as it is..(but it could be better..! Damn! Couldn't help myself there!! LOL!!)

Heh, thx. It's kinda finished, wanted to keep it simple. Might try to go on with it..

Ehm, Salkizar uploaded wrong track lol this is nowhere near to being finished. I still have a lot to do with it

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.

Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.

Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.

Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."

Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

Absolutely fantastic vocals from her.

Pure chill-out electronica.

Some of my best chillout. Her vocals were definitely inspiring.
