I know you put this out there a long time ago, but it's still pretty sick man! And just for clarification, that is a good thing!

Noctavius 14th Dec 2014 06:01 - 11 years ago

TALENTED INDEED!! Keep experimenting with different music man...if anything i would say make those drums more sticking ya dig...other than that...YOUR DOPE!!!

ThaTruth1 1st Aug 2014 04:46 - 12 years ago

I enjoy that voice sample. Drums are kicking. Had me rolling this early in the morning. Haha

soundhound 31st May 2014 23:36 - 12 years ago

This moves like it's going somewhere, solid mix with lots of flavour...
You could have someone spitting some logic...Lyrically to meet the depth
and swagger of the track..Can't be no stupid stuff...
Also a guitar with style and simple lines...other then that the tracks talkin
smack.. :-)

Outstandingly done...

Peace...TG.

ronabo replied 1st Jun 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks SteelCityRed... I will contact you when I am done with it. I would like to hear a song on the track.

Tight track Ronabo! I can't believe this is your first time. This is Hip-Hop for sure. I really like when track breaks in at the 1:15 point. What I would do personal is add a little more thump / bass to the kick and some crispness / reverb to the snare. Just my two cents but I also usually make old school Hip-Hop beats. I really like what you have so far. Nice work.

ronabo replied 13th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Hey Shatner, Yeah it is my first real attempt to a hip hop track. I normally play a lot of jazz chords and chill music. I really appreciate the feedback and glad to know that you think is a tight track. I find it difficult to mix and master tracks. I hope I can figure out how to get the thump and crispness necessary for hip hop. Thanks again bro.

I think the mix is what would make this track sound more hip-hop.The track is great, and hip-hop comes in all flavors, but if you are going for that traditional hip-hop sound..I think building the mix around the kick would be a good start for this track.

ronabo replied 11th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks man. I plan to focus more on the mix to get a better sound. Good feedback.

radioilluminati 10th Apr 2014 16:50 - 12 years ago

I have one advice for you. If you don't over-compress your music, then it will not be as loud as other tracks, but the dynamic range will be greater(sounds better). My latest track is not over-compressed so it has more dynamic range: http://turnmeup.org/

ronabo replied 11th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

good point... thanks man.

benjizo 10th Apr 2014 16:41 - 12 years ago

This is a good one,not bad for the first attempt. You got good synths there.Good one Ronabo.

ronabo replied 10th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thank you Benjizo. I hope to improve and get that radio sound. I appreciate you listening.

radioilluminati 10th Apr 2014 15:16 - 12 years ago

You made a good track there! It is different than other Hip Hop beats. Different is good, because it makes you unique. Why make music sound like anybody else. Non of us look are are the same, why should our music not reflect our uniqueness?

I didn't notice anything that was not working.

ronabo replied 10th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thank you radioilluminati for the feedback and comments. You are right about our uniqueness.

CognacXE 10th Apr 2014 08:09 - 12 years ago

Man... Those synths pulled me in from the start!!! I can't overstate how much I love the synths here! Very easy to follow along with. Even the way you transitioned was very strong. I'd love to have this on my gym playlist. looking forward to see what else you do with it. Hell, this would even make a solid stand alone interlude.

Great work,

WOW this is great...!!!
Flow is good as a Hip-Hop song would be.I mean you have maintained the Hip-Hop/Rap structure here...!!

Really loved those beats.Well programmed.I think you can lower the claps a bit and can add some Reverb to beats.

Those piano variations are addictive and cool.Gives a real feel of Pop/Hip-Hop.

Bass-line is really good. You can tweak it a little bit.I think its sounding more like a Dance or House bass(i think its only for me....don't change those keys, pitch and all....Just tweak it a little bit)

Song is really perfect. You can extend it by 1 Minute..!!
Awesomely produced....!!

ronabo replied 10th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks for the feedback, Advait07. I really appreciate it. I still have work to do on it. I will add a little reverb to the drums, I think that is a good idea. I am going to add a bridge I think to compliment the track and see what happens.
