I just listened to this like I've never ever heard it before! I had my comment all cued up and I see I already commented on it...even did vocals to it. LOLOLOL That is hilarious! 7 years later I am still enjoying this as if I was RIGHT there! Hope all is well!!! :-)
Thank you for liking it once more :-P You've made two tracks with me, both of which I enjoy immensely. Thank you for the awesome contributions you have made so far.
Well, I am listening to your latest tune here. Sounds really good and out front with the guitar.
It is put together very well and a lot different than my song which is faster and has more instruments, but there are slow and fast blues songs so they all have a place. :-)
I have done a couple real slow blues tunes, one with just slide guitar if you'll search thru my songs, you can find them if interested.
Hey man..I smell something cooking on that old blues stove, and it sounds mighty fine!..traditionally stylised within the electric post Mayall period(100% excellent proof!) played with an undiminished sweetness, you just can't pass this by without breathing it in and thinking..aaaahhhhhh that's gooood!
cheers Dave
Yeah, definitely no criticism here. Just a big fat smile on my face....like hearing Stevie again. You are seriously one talented musician. It's easy to hear that you have paid your dues....you make that guitar come to life.
Thanks for the download! I will enjoy this one again and again and again. Man, I'm a fan for sure.
Hey SBM, thank you for your kind words. I'm ecstatic and humbled at the same time, by the comments I have recieved by you guys and girls on LM. I means the world to me and makes me want to do better every single time...
Thank you for that input, and you could have a point. Some b3 could add shine to any track. Unfortunately I'm not much of a keyboard player :-/ But could put some time into it next time around :-)
and ain`t the blues the greatest genre for a playuer to get that feeling into the music...and you do it well here....great job....know the feeling....Ed
That's what i'm talking about. Something with some feeling. Love both guitars. It's just... blue.
Like it a lot man. Only thing that comes to mind in the vein of improvements is maybe some "breakdowns" in the drum kit would make it sound less like a drum machine. This is a good track man. Good work. Keep Doin' it! J.P.
Thanks a bunch :-) I can't take credit for the drums or other guitar though. It's a jam track I found on the net. But You're right just the same ;-) Maybe I should do do one with some breakdowns :-)
Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? You find yourself switching from one thing to another due to overwhelm - say hallo to 'ADHD' But this time we could focus on the song and used some loops from Hysteria and Bigishi. And a big thanks to James who did help us with the guitars. (He was in the mood for blues :-) We are on Bandcamp as kayos2 Tell us what you think of this track....
Description : so having been inspired by our girl Rita singing the blues I threw myself in and had a go, i went at it with full gusto, i think soul, blues are hard to hit because the singers always have fantastic voices lush females and deep soulfull males with great baratone vocals, i obviously don't have the greatest voice, but you gotta have belief in yourself first, yes i put emotion into my lyric delivery so this was a stretch, its less Teddy Swimms more dimestop sings :)) i'm sure you'll let me know
Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : Hopefully it is the first song of an imaginary album that I will call "Diverse waves". I believe the title of this "album" will keep me focused on a style that incorporates and blends various musical elements for the pleasure of our ears.
I really hope you will like the results of this attempt.
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : KesstA or "What's ur prob" Blues is an excuse for having fun recording several tracks of guitar and trying to make them sound alright all together. If it sounds a bit messy or jammy, well it's part of it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.

Thanks for the praise! I really appriciate it. I will definately browse your uploads then ;)
Oh, and the reason I like slow blues, is that I can't play any faster than I do... he he
cheers Dave
Keep up the good work ;)
