Description : InZaria is the collective sound of Jamie Vega (previously known as CeeJamesBeat) and the magnificent Savali Dalisu. We met through Looperman and have developed a special sound which we will work on more and more. The track "Beautiful Stranger" is a mix of Jazz, RnB and a genre I can't quite put my finger on. It's just a demo at this stage but enjoy!

now this is some new style soul music that gets it done. love the simplicity of the beat, the effects on her vocals, and her voice. it reminds me of the madvillain ft stacey epps song 'eye'. completely unexpected, absolutely incredible. its a case of love at first listen. respect to both of you.

Jazz isn't normally my thing, but after reading your forum post I was intrigued. And I'm happy my intrigue paid off, because this is amazing. Weird and unpredictable, twisting and turning here and there... and those vocal manipulations, although jarring at first, add an extra strange edge to it that I ended up liking. Can't find fault with it!

thanks - I'm not really sure the genre would be jazz - I just couldn't decide. I agree about the vocal manipulations being a little jarring - I had to put quite a few filters on the vocals - I wanted a clean crisp sound but at the moment our recording quality isn't good enough to be unaltered. Thanks for your kind comments!

Cheers Simmer mate - yea definitely sounds like a plan - I was actually going to be ask you before if you fancied helping doing some mixing as well. Send me an email and we'll discuss something for the next track. I want to keep the dubby reggae sound but more jazz influenced. If I could find someone who could scratch that would be the icing on the cake.

Thanks Visionary - I know, it's the scratching that makes it a little too Portishead. I just couldn't resist. I might take the scratching out :). Thanks again

Lovely vocal & an excellent backing track. Gotta say I'm heavilly reminded of Portishead with this. I like this a lot my friends. Decidedly different & imaganitive. Quality work peeps.

Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
