UThandi - Vuduchylde

Name: uThandi
Duration: 249 s
Channel: Vuduchylde
Description: This is the sound of the KwaZulu Natal South Coast, where I grew up. It is Zulu with a tinge of the Amabhaca (part of the Pondo tribe) sound as the South Coast is where Pondoland met KwaZulu, and our dilect reflects this as well. I first wrot ethe lyrics and as I was humming under my breath, the music came (first the rhytm, then I added the lead). I hope you enjoy it. I gave it a bluesy feel.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
