Garden Prayer - TonyKnight

Name: Garden Prayer
Duration: 271 s
Channel: TonyKnight
Description: I've always been in awe of what it must have been like to pray, "take this cup... not my will but thine". I tried to capture that conflict in this tune. Played the Paul on this through my cheap Fender DSP 212...but dressed it up with a great reverb from the Tascam DP-02.

A good musical concept, and a guitar playing, good for me.
Write more? Simply overwhelmed by the music .... Excellent,
except the end ....

Thank you, again. It's nice to have a song be well received. I will get to some more of your stuff this week. You're wildly creative...or maybe you play in a bigger sand box than the one I play in...either way you say it, I'm interested by the music you make. Cheers!

Thanks to you! I will get to some of your tunes in the next day or so. This was a good project for me because I had an emotion I was trying to capture and then I had to accomplish that...or try, anyway. IT was challenging. IT was rewarding. TK

Thats some fantastic Git-Tar playing Tony. Lovely track my friend. Nice groove to it. The off beat drum helps break then flow the track. Very nice piece of work indeed

TonyKnight replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Many thanks for the kind words. That drum pattern came stright out of my MM6....the changes wre simple but a little syncopated in spots,,,,is that the right term?? the 'off' beat brought out the best of that feeling. Thanks, again.
