Description : I must have spent a combined total of about 25 hours making this song. The amount of times I made parts decided I didn't like it and started almost again just keeping one bar of it is unreal.
It was worth it in the end though. I don't often make this genre of music so it was quite different for me (it still has the basic style of my music though).
Theres still parts i'm not sure I'm happy with but if i hear it anymore times i'm going to vomit. Nico Collu did an amazing job of the two acapellas I used for this song - check out his stuff - excellent vocal artist. Thanks for uploading them.
Anyway Enjoy, CJB

If you have time take a listen and give JamieVega some feedback.
I think that if you explore further into this type of beat making, then we'll be having a collab soon enough! Explore it and practice, then we can do something! ^^
Also, if you come up with something nice, you can always send it to me at: Nico.Collu@gmail.com and I will listen to it and see if I can supply any vocals to it!!
How does that sound?
What an interesting genre you've created! The best music comes from new, un-explored areas!
I love the that there is an ability to dance but there is almost no trace of nowadays dance music!
Great instruments used and a fun/experimental combination of them!
Also, your use of several of my Vacapella's must've been an undertaking. I love the dedication my friend!
Another thing I noticed is that you switch style in the track quickly & a lot. After 1-2 bars, a style changes! Nice touch and a good change from the dance music today which spans 18 bars of the same rhythm.
Well, what can I say. I think you should continue with this genre and explore it. I think it needs attention and some more work for you to perfect it and create something unlike anyone else!
I'd love to hear more of this! :D
Thanks for using my Vacapella man!
Thanks for the feedback - I really enjoyed making this one. It changes a lot because I have a short attention span but it kinda works. If you ever want to do a proper song together give me a shout - it would be interesting to further explore this kind of music, again thanks CJB
Time well spent then CJB my friend. A very intresting and different take on the dance genre. Lots going on and some lovely breaks. Great use of the vocal. I enjoyed the way you have taken dance and altered it to make something groovy yet your own
Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
