Description : "A New Life" is a song I wrote and produced for my up coming album - The Illness of Love. Lyrically, of all the songs on the album, this one hits closest to home for me. :I (I produced this song using many loops. Used Magix MM Deluxe 12-UK Edition and Editor 2.)

I'm clearing my path
Leave destruction behind
I want to live a new life
That starts before I die

Set me free
I'll run across the sky
Dry my eyes
They no longer cry
All my tears
Are merely alibis
For the truth
I would almost give my life

Hey! Nice song you got here! Really like the soothing melodies in here as well as your haunting vocals which fit perfectly and are full of emotion! Very professional stuff!
Keep up the good work!

So loving this. Real solid vocals. I really love the beginning and ending electronic ambience.

First time I've ever heard the original, and it's brilliant! completely different from what I expected too. Love the use of guitar with electro sounds. If I've got any criticism at all it's that your fantastic voice would sound even clearer with a lower compression threshold to bring out the quieter parts - no biggy though, this is great!

Scriptique 4th Jul 2008 00:26 - 18 years ago

Wow. This is quite excellent! I love the words, and the whole atmosphere of it. Very calming, and you have a very nice voice.

Well done!

What a delightful song.....unencumbered and uncomplicated..lots of space for a great acoustic mesh of guitar and vocals ..elements such as the harp and delay echo are great!...I'm really diggin' this one....beautiful work!....cheers planet

Thanx Planet! I was going for some space and movement with this one. The guitar sets in there where pleading to be heard. :D

Thanx for the informative review.

Cheers!
