interesting to say the least, cool...reminds me of swamp thang from a Bavarian swamp, kinda like an electronic catfish meets oktoberfest, is a compliment of course

Cacofonix replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Hi. Thanks for listen and reviewing. Happy to read that you like it. Only explain what you mean whith "swamp thing from a Bavarian swamp", because i don't get the clue :) I thing that's because i'm a stupid Dutchman :P with bad English.

Very interesting mix D...The sound fx definitely give it that swamp vibe...The melody & instrumentation actually have quite a Celtic vibe too and considering the origin of the Cajun people that would be fair game...I have heard quite a bit of French cultural/folk music here in Canada and it also has that same feel as much of the Cajun (the French who moved South)...Anyway,...Its sounding good...lots of potential and I really like the modern touch that the beat gives to it....Well done...Ed

Thanks for your kind words. I do know the history of the Cajun people, and the fact that they are former countrymen of yours. I'm glad to hear that you like my music.

Hey matey

First thing I want to say about this piece is WOW, what a stunning piece, love the nature fx sounds and the beat is so so catchy, clarity of the mix is brillaint, this is on absolutely brillaint piece of work, one to be extremely proud of for sure, only thing to add would be vocal then straight onto the radio, it has feel and vibe about it that it should be out there for the world on the radio....massive....wow man so loving this one...one of the best listens I have heard on the loop for awhile....instant fav right from the very start....Peace n much Respect man....Estefano...

Cacofonix replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thank you Estefano. Yes I'm realy proud on this one. Abouth the vocals, do you know someone who can write and sing French lyrics on this one? I Gues not.
And airplay? Hmmmmmmm? Could be a problem too.

Thanks for Listen, Review & Faving

Csage7 13th Jun 2011 06:17 - 15 years ago

well, the "environment" does sound like the south..with the crickets and frogs, but the melody sounds kinda like a western theme..interesting mix though.

Cacofonix replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks for your comment on this track. Yes i know that it is a clash of cultures but i only wanted to create a CAJUN LIKE track and not an original sound.

Still working on it, so keep watching.
