Description : This is a song I wrote for my brother when he went over to Iraq... I have since recorded it in a local home studio in my home town, I think it needs a bit more in the vocal part though. Hope you like it... not sure what genre to put it in.

Very mellow, the vocals are super good! Blends well with the other instruments and the drums sound very immersive.

What I like is what you express with your voice. Even if I do not understand every word (sorry I´m German)I understand the mood, the feeling between the lines. You have to tell something and everybody has to listen. Please go on and tell us more.

Very nice vocals. You have a unique quality to your voice. Really nice control and I love the fact that your pitch is spot on. You also have the ability to express emotion when you sing, probably the most important thing a singer can learn.

This is really nice.

Malu gives great advice. It would be nice to have your vocals a bit more forward in the mix. It almost feels like your vocals were added after the song was mixed....

But I'm nit picking here, instead of enjoying the experience.

Extremely well done and I look forward to many more songs from you. And please thank your brother for his service to all of us. It is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much. I have to agree with you on the mix, I do think there needs to be more especially with the vocals... I would like to take this song back to the studio and put some vocals behind the "talking part", and hold it out until the chorus comes in again! I think that would give the song more soul. :)

Thank you, it's always good to hear positive feedback on vocals. Matthew Montoya (who is the awesome guy mixing this track) said that he could "hear" the emotion in my voice while singing this song... it does MEAN alot to me because of our troops! :)
