Description : I can't get enough of drum machine action at the moment. I've been learning many famous patterns in the process of messing about. This one is called Mother Popcorn (Funk?). Anyway I have destroyed the RD-9 with industrial noise from the Edge and overdriven the lot through the mixer.

Description : The RD-9 can do a fair stab at an 808 style kick I reckon. Added Edge bleepy noises and some Roland SP-606 vinyl crackle and this brand new beat sounds like it was recorded from a 1990s record. No computer FX added.

Description : This hard kick was recorded from my RD-9 into an overdriven channel on my mixer. Sub bass rhythm is from the Edge. Bonus vinyl noise from the SP-606. All captured in one take no vst effects at all. Industrial!

I am making a series of kickers with this machine running through an analog mixer pushed to the max. I've added some FX and extras with my SP-606 along the way, as well. Enjoy.
