Description : I made a new rumble rack using only Reason devices. These rumbles are all from the RD-9 as source samples, then fed through a rumble chain of reverb, delay, overdrive distortion and filter. Finally I used the Pump device to shape the rumble. These last three are getting into hardstyle territory with all the distortion!

Description : I learned this rumble technique from Captain Pikant on YouTube. Basically all you do is send the tom toms through a filter and reverb and you have a deep rumble - it really shakes the speakers. I simply sent the outputs of the RD-9 drum machine through two different chains; this kick is compressed and the tom is through huge reverb and filtered very low. RD-9 only - no post processing required.

Description : This experimental loop is comprised of the Edge percussion synth running at a very high tempo, then sidechained to a techno kick. I think it could be an interesting way to make a rumble track - just add reverb and low pass filtering for a kind of rhythmic rumble texture.

For these three loops I sidechained and filtered full hardtechno loops (some of my own earlier loops) and the results were pretty massive.
