Description : I mixed this together over the course of a couple hours. I used a lot of cinematic loops from a dude on here named Psychotropic (creds, man) and it turned out pretty well. it kinda reminds you of a gothic cathedral or castle...kinda. I used Audacity to put it together. It's made up entirely of loops because I don't have the money to buy myself a decent keyboard or workstation.

Description : After watching the sun rise, you soon come to what appears to be a tropical island. There is a jungle in the distance, but to reach it, you must travel across a vast coastal desert. Something is drawing you to that jungle, and you feel compelled to reach it by crossing the desert. You soon realize that the desert is more dangerous than it seems...

Description : Imagine yourself floating in space. More specifically, in a ship moving slowly through the black. all is relatively peaceful as you pass a nearby planet, until an asteroid collides with your ship, causing it to malfunction and shoot down to the surface of the planet. Your systems recover just before you crash-land, and you exit the ship and explore the vast foreign world that lies before you. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination, and if you'd like to say in a review what images come to mind, feel free. The song is subject to change at least a little, because i might decide later that i'm dissatisfied with the ending or something.

Description : imagine that you are caught in a heavy snowstorm and forced to take refuge in a nearby cathedral.
You walk through it, curious, and begin to feel as though it is haunted. Yet you are compelled to continue exploring, and what you encounter along the way may not be the friendliest of spirits...

as a side note, i should give credit where credit is due for the loops i used- i got a lot from a user on freesound.org named ERH, and also several other people whose names i can't remember right now.

Description : it's been a little while since i've made a new track. this one starts off soft with a lot of choir stuff, and then in the middle it gets more electronic-y and drums and stuff start going. you'll have to listen for yourself to really get a feel of what the song is like :)

Description : Imagine yourself trapped in an eerie castle where the walls pulse with circuits and glowing lights, much like the inside of a computer. You soon sense an invisible presence that wants you gone. You begin running, frantically searching for the exit. Eventually you come to a massive room with hundreds of bells in many sizes suspended from the ceiling. Mesmerized, you walk quite slowly through the room. Upon exiting, you begin running again, and soon the exit is in sight. You reach the door and burst out of the castle onto a white-tinged landscape. Your relief is short-lived, however, as a dense fog settles over the area....

(Note: this track is intended to replace Aeroturbulence in the tracklisting for my [hopeful] album. It follows Gothic Technologic and precedes Temporal Fog in terms of theme and track number. Reviews are welcome as usual. And for those wondering, yes, I did sample Metroid Prime music.)

Description : This song isn't entirely ambient, but there wasn't a genre to fit the combination of ambient, orchestral, and a bit of DnB. I'm considering extending the drums part, but i'm pretty well satisfied with what i have here. This is one of my most favorite songs that i've made so far, i hope you all enjoy :) P.S. - in light of reviews, it seems the genre that fits best is Cinematic. Thanks for all the positive reviews, guys :D they're really encouraging ^_^

Description : I played around with glitch in this one, and used more strings and such. Still cinematic, ambient, and using drum n bass and dubstep as well. Reviews welcome! hope you all enjoy :)

Description : nice little ambient track i made today :) sort of a transition type track for the album i hope to put together with these songs i'm making lately. As the title suggests, it's very shimmery and clean sounding. Think of a surreal icy environment, maybe featuring a frozen lake, where you can see the water bubbling underneath.

Description : Picture yourself beginning to climb a mountain. You are courageous at first, but you can sense some hidden danger as you climb. You press on in spite of the ominous feelings, and eventually the air of foreboding seems to spike and then disappear altogether. You begin to reach the peak, and a newfound sense of determination fills your heart. You march triumphantly through the snow and ice towards the top of the mountain. Before you can reach the top, the feeling of danger returns in full force, and the mountain begins to warp and change, glitching as though the rocks you've been climbing were never what they appeared to be. Before you can blink, you find yourself standing on the edge of a volcanic crater. Time to get down....

Description : I made this one about a year ago, but I'm just now uploading it. It's a very floaty-sounding ambient piece. Think Insect Airport, if you know who that is.

Tags : | Cinematic | 5.60 MB

Description : Continuing from Oceansail (said song's theme should be pretty obvious xD) a storm begins to develop out on the sea, and you have no choice but to plunge into it headfirst. The waves and wind toss you about and after some adventure, the storm begins to clear away.
(sorry the description was a bit shorted on this one, i didn't think of specific events, just an overarching storm sailing thing.)

Description : The calm of the morning after the storm in Nautical Thunderclouds. Nice little short ambient track with flutes and chimes and softness :3

Description : Having just escaped the desert, you find yourself in a humid, dripping jungle, immediately compelled to run deeper into the tangle of plant life. Abruptly the compulsion wears off, and you find yourself treading cautiously through denser parts of the jungle. Tension begins to build again gradually, and you find yourself moving more quickly, eventually breaking into a full run again. After running quite a long way, you come to a relatively sturdy rope bridge spanning a waterfall. Birds and local wildlife caw and chirp as you gingerly make your way across the bridge. An inexplicable aura of danger begins to fill the air again soon after you re-enter the forest, and you feel almost as if you are being lead to your own execution. You walk slowly and rhythmically through the jungle, eerie unnerving sounds surrounding you, but you come to an ancient, decrepit temple shrine made of sandstone and light begins to shine from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. You step proudly into the center of the shrine and the aural glow seems to emanate from your body for just a moment, then streams of white-yellow light swirl around you and suddenly vanish, as if sucked into an invisible pinprick. You walk on past the temple shrine and come to the opposite coast of the one you landed on when you arrived, and watch sky as shafts of light burst through grey clouds in the distance, with the ocean lapping at your feet.

P.S.- sound quality had to be extremely reduced for this song to fit on looperman-this version is only 112 kbps as opposed to 320.

Tags : | Cinematic | 6.15 MB

Description : an alternate version of the song employing the sound effect from Metal Gear Solid that plays when you've been spotted by a guard. It's not that much different from the original song, but it's great if you like the series.

Tags : | Electronic | 3.15 MB

Description : a song with a lot of switching back and forth with tones and sounds, and calling the genre Electronic really doesn't do it justice because there are so many genres infused here i can't accurately categorize it myself. I'm beginning to experiment with 8-Bit and such, i hope you enjoy :)
