Description : oh man I worked on this one for 2 weeks and I mixed this over 20 times but it was worth it. Then my laptop's hard drive died on me and I thought I lost it forever. Thankfully I recovered it today and decided to upload this one.

Description : Duckdown was having a producer contest and who ever wins will have their beat featured on NBA 2k11 and win a trip to New York. There is also an MC portion but I stuck to what I was good out. This was what I uploaded. I sequenced the drums in fl studio and made everything else in pro tools.

Description : I have been using Reason and Pro Tools a lot lately, but I had to go back my beloved Fl Studio. This track contains a drum kit i made, nice groove, a piano, an electric guitar, and some synths

updated- 2nd mix- switched the piano vst, got rid of the distortion on the kick and added a little more bass (but i still think the original was better)

Description : The title actually has two meanings. The first is me growing as a musician. I am taking music composition and audio production class and I am already learning so much. I should be done by January if all goes well. The second is me growing as a person and learning about myself. After finishing with my music class, I will be going to the marines in a few months. So I will make a beat tape before I leave and try to upload as much tracks as possible from it.

Description : This is a great record, its what's gonna separate me from average to pretty damn good. It took me two weeks to finish this and edited it like a million times. Good old 808s for drums, triumphant horns, killer strings, a hyphy synthline, and a great main lead.
