Description : I started a new classical piece after a rough night out drinking. I was feeling very quiet and still and felt the need to express it. I'll probably add more, but its late now... *Edit* Slight changes. I'm not happy with the mix yet. Sounds like i'll need to do some hardcore EQing. Maybe too much comp?

Description : A classical piece I started last night. It'll eventually progress into a dark part 2. It's an early mix and mixed on headphones. I wrote each part with Reason 5 and mixed in Record 1.5 I did a quick master through wavelab/Ozone4

Description : (Sorry uploaded wrong version first time)!! ------I've taken this a different direction trying out different melodies/harmonies using Neptune. Just an idea. Not quite sure what version I like better. Also not sure on EQ and overall mix

Description : Slight changes. Lowered the pitch of the vocal slightly and has less distortion. Still lots to do.

Description : Been away on holiday and fancied a rework of the lost and found mix I did. The bass isnt how I want it. The volumes and overal mix is are early stages. Im mixing with some really crappy headphones :( So might sound really messy on anything else!! A lot of side chaining in this!! Hope its ok!

Description : Another thing i started. was just random ideas. Unfortuantely the quality isnt great on these bass tracks... I recorded the acoustic through a headset microphone lol and it was falling apart. I have a feeling it may be too loud or sharp sounding? dunno, but its history now. Was fun at the time

Description : Found this while browsing through some old cubase saves. I wish I had carried on with this, and probably will do once i sort my bass out. There were drums kicking in with the bass but they dissapeared. :( I played a lot of bass when high back a year ago, and here some recordings of random improv stuff. Only short! Anyone is welcome to try stuff with the guitar with or anything they want. Just let me hear if you do :)

Description : Dont know what to do with this now... No more vocals. I found nacole who is the female singer in this track.... I will Update this with the male voice name when I find out who he is! I think... The female vocal is in key? Or can get away with it... Ive listened to it far too much!
I took that annoying intro out. Volume doesnt peak now... but might be a bit 'too' compressed! Hope it sounds ok on other speakers. Is there too much bass? Freq wrong?? thanks

Description : Ok, so heres another arrangement! Man I gotta stop doing this!! :D Slight change in drums, cymbals etc. And some effects here and there :)

Description : This is a new piece I worked all night and morning on. I think i might be getting the hang of the mixing. Theres a beautiful forest near me in Oxfordshire called Wychwood Forest. I lot of legends and tales... I still need to add some cymbal crashes here and there, maybe some light strings, some gaps between parts and the last note right at the end to hold on quietly... I also need to nail the dynamics of the flute/piccalo. Far to quick of an attack i think. Needs to flow more...

The volume i think is a bit low still... No loops, Produced in Reason, I tried to get the instruments to sound as real as possible... I may of played around with it too much!

Description : Still no where finished. But a slight change in synths and overall sound. Some feedback would be great. I'll be taking this track further when I have the time. Is the bass too much? Too little? And are the vocals too loud or overwhelmed with effects? Thanks :)

Description : I love this acapella. Very nice voice! I spent a lot of time trying to get the voice the way I wanted it. Hope its not too over the top with effects. I also used another looperman members acapella, but couldnt remember who... I downloaded it a while ago. Anyone know? I cant wait to do some more to it, too tired now. Just wondered what people thought so far? I got some new headphones and not sure if i have balanced everything well in mixing/mastering. Thanks

Description : This track I did hmm around 4-5 years ago... This was when I was trying to get my head around compressors for the first time. Thought i'd upload. Today is the first time ive heard it for such a looong time... Soo bizarre hearing it! Just wish I had the orignal files so i can redo it :(

Description : An updated version of the last track. Not finished mastering it yet . Think it may be a bit too bassy still
I took it in a different direction and added guitars and other bits :D
The guitars are made using a combination of different synths. I tried to make it sound real as possible.

Love Holly's voice. I've played around with it quite a bit!
Hopefully she will record some more in the same key as before :)

Description : It was a very hard thing to do... I had to delete my old version of A Nocturnal Groove to make room for some other tracks... The hard thing was loosing the lovely review made by Koukotsu... But fear not, I saved it in a text document! :D
This is an old track again, probably, 4-5 years old. Using fruity loops demo. I know the voice doesnt fit 100% in key, but i think it got away with it...

Description : Another really old track I did about 8 years ago... Very repetitive but I like the space in this track. Hope you like. Cant remember which software used in this one, I think it was Fruity Loops 'Demo' :)
