Description : track with ableton live, 1st mix of the track...
a get up and dance track with some heavy lively drums , quite an uplifting selection of melodies that have been programmed... flows nicely but am working on doing a few different mixes with variations on the track finding the right potion ready for live mixing in a set

Description : made on ableton live, a mixture of dark and light in this track, bitt of a stompa as the name suggests...

triggered clips etc with behringer bcr/bcf20000 in real time then made a few adjustments with timing and added a sparse amounts of fx...

inputed melodies maself and used 2 drum loops which was adjusted over time threw in a couple of vocal snippets and some drum programming...

any suggestions would go down nicely as im jus getting used to ableton/bcr/bcf2000...wikd programme

Description : been working with ableton live and the behringer bc2000 controllers really sussing them out and this is the first track ive really put together after much fiddling with software and the hardware, let me know what you think for a 1st real attempt, used some starwars vox within the track, used some drum loops and programmed in the rest...
recorded the mix in real -time with the controllers then added minimal fx afterwards jus to touch it up a lil... found a great new way of working live within ableton to maybe take away some of the rigidness of sequencing in blocks( i hope) is a lil like recording ure dj mixes rwady for cds etc

Description : made on nuendo, first trak made wiv ma new monitors so i hope the sound quality is better...sounds booomin wiv the trak turned right up and you can really get the atmosphere it was designed for...get up and dance

Description : this is a trak ive been messing about on at xmas...made on nuendo.its a get up and dance trak, ...there is also a mix of this with a vocal thats been chopped up just to try to get an idea of what it could sound like with a vox...have a listen to both versions and give me an opinion too which is the best, or too see if i should get another vocalist on the trak, making it original all the way through or if you are a vocalist and would like a collaboration on this trak for a giggle

Description : this was made on a triton keyboard all played in live by maself, the drum was programmed in reason, i then got ma friend/tutor charlie to give me sum lovly twangs on his guitar... really enjoyed making this trak in a college lesson and made a nice change to my normal frantic headbangin tunes

Description : this was a trak from my college band. 2people left the course and 2 were kicked off, but this is a jam we had after 3 weeks together, i played the synth parts... not sure what to classify this as. The drums go walkabouts near the end and the traks quite long as it was a jam. shame really cuz we gelld together quite well and if things had been different...i wud av liked to ov been part of the band, but sh*t happens

Description : wrote this trak after hearing from my bro' steel 4 the 1st time for over a year and it was him that got me in2 making tunes... The trak crashed 1/2 way through making it so theres a instrumental bit at the end... hope u enjoy... feedbak wud be welcome

Description : i made this trak on logic/reason...i wrote the lyrics and got paul to sing 4 me and i think his voice really makes the trak work. I will be keeping all the instrumentation, but will be changing the drums at sum point...
If there are any vocalists out there who want a collabortion on this trak get in touch and we'll see wot can be done. i wanted to have a male+female because that whats the traks about...any input will be grateful.

the lyrics were written to all those people who tried to meddle in my relationship, every obstacle that was thrown in our way only made us stronger and love saw us through and now they all know that we've got each other and that all that matters 2 us.

Description : this trak was made for ma lady specifically because this used to be her attitude 2wads me always thinkin i was gonna run off wiv auva and she wasn;t gud enuf, serious trust issues which can affect us all if we've been taken 4 mugs. doesn't jus hurt at the time.
when i played her the trak she said thats me... laughed, then hit me and said i'll neva do anything u want,.. anythink at all...

Description : Wrote this trak june08 using nuendo/reason.
Used a combination of softsynths (preditor/v-station/albino/octapussy) for the instrumentals,

Started off by tapping around on the keyboard with different instruments till i came up with what i was looking for.
programmed into MIDI trak.
Selected another instrument till i found wot complimented it and so on, till i built up the sound scape which i could bring in and out different instruments along the trak.

32 bar loop... practiced bringing traks in and out, transposing some traks up+down octaves and worked on building momentum.
Tried out a few fx and automation.

Wanting a drive behind the instruments is where my choice of drums came from with the kick+bass(audio 1shots nuendo), with the hats skipping it along(reason).

Laid down intro+2nd section(drums/bass).

Instruments eased them in from intro to 2nd section.
built up trak more bought in more instruments,

3rd section harder kicks+bass, instruments all come into play and progress over time till the next lull.

Built back up again using breaks+instruments fadin in/out.

4th section gets more hectic added some new instruments.different breakdowns and builds using instruments coming in+out drops in the main beat+bass.

Then after laying the trak out, added fx, made up some drum rolls/drops put in vox samples.

Tweaked the trak around a bit.

Bounced it down.

In hindsight there was probaly to many breakdowns and not enuf momentum in the trak to stoppy starty and not enuf variation in the drums, but the instrumentation gave the variation maybe will redo the trak a few times see which forula is right... any suggestions???
