Description : Woke up early this morning couldn't go back to sleep. So, what better thing to do than to create music! This is all I could come up with at such an early hour. Short, simple, key of Eb, with no variation.

Description : While visiting the Arkansas State Fair this past week I witnessed a rodeo type event. It was quite an experience to watch live and in person. I marveled at their precise maneuvers and the way they handled those beautiful horses! Oh what it must be like to do something so exhilarating day in and day out. This one goes out to all of those blue ribbon winners! -JT

Description : While on a road trip this past weekend I experienced much rain, and a north west wind. The storms were expected to last throughout the weekend, and I was definitely dreading the three hour trip. While trudging through the heavy rain and winds it was all about the destination. I definitely had an oppressive "are we there yet" mentality. When I arrived in the city I was traveling to, everything cleared up and I was all smiles again. I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends, family, and heart smiling joy! When I returned home I reminisced on my trip...
At times, for most of us (Including myself), life is all about the destination, but it shouldn't be. Life is about the journey! Living in the moment, enjoying the beauty in people, nature, and the many other 'little' things we pass along the way. I encourage you to Open your eyes and your heart and enjoy it! Description : Wrote this letter many years ago, just now paring it with this piece.
Staring at you while you sleep, trying to figure out how to say the right words, the words that will touch your heart as well as your soul. The chic words you've always wanted to hear. Although, it seems useless now, you will never look back my way and it seems the light will only get dimmer on the other side of the tunnel. Silly of me to think I can change your mind about us, but it never hurts to try, right? I lay awake all night thinking of the right words. As I began to think about what would bring music to your ears what would make you cry, those tears of happiness and unselfish joy. Then I suddenly realized through your beauty, the mislaid words had already been spoken countless times; however I never meant a single word until now. Of all times, I could have said those words, I think to myself, “why now”? At a time when I know you’re leaving and moving on with your life. I know now that old saying is true; you never know what you have till it’s gone. So, I want to tell you those words, and this time I mean it with every ounce of might within me, from the bottom of my heart, now and forevermore… I love you! As the tears began to seep from my eyes onto the pillow underneath my head, I never knew what those words meant until now. Yes, those words I have spoken to you before, but with it, the feelings that erupt within my heart, it hurts and feels good at the same time. Knowing you will be gone soon hurts me even more. All the why’s in the world could never explain the passion and adoration I feel for you at this moment. As my arms move toward your tranquil body to hold you, I stop myself, knowing you will be happier without me. As my eyes began to tire, and my heavy heart began to weaken, I realized the dream was over, as the day kissed me goodbye, and the sweet surrender of morning light gives way.

Description : I wrote and composed this track on a foggy October morning after traveling the winding back roads of Arkansas and Missouri. In particular, this piece reminded me of an old abandoned house, beaten and tattered in the middle of a field of the brownish and yellow-est grass you'd ever seen. A tall and lonesome dying tree stood near by keeping watch over its companion.
