Description : Something I put together. I don't know how I got inspired to do this, it just came out this way. There are some niggles wrt levels and overal balance, but otherwise I think it sounds okay. Let me know what you think.
Edited: Cleaned up start en ending, redid bass and some guitar. Also did some more mixing.
Recorded with Cubase 4 LE.
Guitar/Bass effects with Digitech GNX3
Drums by Addictive Drums VSTi

Description : Just something I cobbled together while messing with Cubase and Addictive Drums. I couldn't help headbanging to this.
I think it has a nice bay area trash-metal kinda feel to it. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
Drums: Addictive Drums v1.5 (VSTi)
Guitar effects: Digitech GNX3
Bass: Digitech GNX3 bass emulator
Recorded through my Tascam US-144 with Cubase 4 LE

Description : This is a collab between TheRealNeil and me. I like working with this guy. His remix is over on his profile, so give it a listen. This is the raw mix from my side. His version has a lot of reverb, and this has very little so you can hear all the guitars better.
The feeling I have with this is that Neil and me are sitting in a garage somewhere with a shitload of instruments and crates of good beer, getting drunk and cranking out some music. Which is a half-truth ;)

Description : It's rough, but I got bored and started messing around with Pachelbel's canon in D. Let me know what you think. Oh, do keep in mind that I did play that solo in a somewhat inebriated state ;)

Description : I like the laid-back atmosphere in this song. I think it's very Santana-like. I'm not 100% satisfied with the lead in this song, but it will have to do. What I especially like about this song is the twins sweeping away in the background throughout the whole piece, but without being annoying. They just melt away.

Description : I'm actually not so happy with this one. Actually it's one of a list of experiments. Expect crappy drumcomputer drums, clipping and over the top harmonies that get a bit too cheesy for my liking. Why I released it? Because it will rock your face off.

Description : My guitar weeps... I actually wrote this song many years ago (well, the chords to it anyway). Just recently I added the solo's and the twin thingies. It sounds very melancholic. It reminds me of a summer's past. When I wrote it I had the summer of my life, and I was kinda sad it was over.
The drums suck, I know. I just put them there as a click track of sorts, and I know there's better loops out there to use. But what the hey, since you liked the last song so much, here's another :)

Description : A little track I managed to cobble together while playing with my recording setup to find the right sound for things. Tracks mixed and recorded with Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro v3, and I used some commercial, but royalty-free and free to use drumloops (hey, I made this before I found this site). They're not my property and I didn't make those loops, so I am not sharing them.
All guitars and bass parts by me. My GNX3 has an excellent bass-emulator. Guitar goes in, bass goes out :)
This took me a couple of man-hours to put together, and I still feel like it's not really done, but I think it's nice enough to share anyways.
