All of the track is great but my fav bit starts from 2:36, it's like the bit where everyone in the club gets up and joins in. Then theres the main dancers who move to the rythm of the sax while all in background are doing some kind of nine step lindy hop.
Good job on this one, it kept changing and had me wondering what was gona come next. Excellent work with the synths. Was it all just one or different ones toghether?
Thanks StrawHatDJ , tried to add the element of surprise in it and it seems that it worked ;) The synths were different kind of synths, in the sort of first part were it drops the bass I layered two of them and then add in a sylenth synth that I modified a bit. But I used a lot of different sounds to achieve what I liked ;d
Samantha + Dan = Listening pleasure, really like the rhodes, @2mins it starts good but then @2:19 the transintion back is a bit off. I suggest keeping the toms going and fading them out.
I enjoy listening to this one. Good work!
A simle track that has bee put together really well.
Sing more in your native tongue. Nothing wrong with what you have done. I just personaly think alot of other languages sound much more natural and better than english when it comes to singing.
Words need to flow together in harmony. Good work.
Thanks for your words!
I agree with you, but I think that is better to sing english lyrics, 'cause all people here understand that language. English is the common language in this website. If someone from Germany or France or Iran sings in his native language, probably most of us wouldn't understand what is he singing.
So, I will upload english acapellas. People will understand.
Well... thanks for listening and comment! :D
Cheers StrawHatDJ I loved TOTP when I was a kid still do. Good days. I would love to work with Patricia but I cant afford the bus fair. Thanks for calling in.
a bit off? as in dissonant? If you mean the intro then I have to say that this is slightly dissonant on purpose... otherwise, maybe you'd be so nice to specify what exactly seems strange so I can make it better next time^^
but of course thanks for listening and taking your time to comment^^
Genre is cinematic because this could be... should be a soundtrack to a movie/anime/tv show. Loved the flutes for intro and through out the track. Very nicely put together and you seemed to sing words that worked well with everything. Creative talent you have.
Oh hello Sir :)
Thx for your visit and your warm comment !
I fell in love with Dave's duducks and Devodale's piano . They allowed me to make a love song which, weirdly enough, sounds rather gloomy ... lol
Peace ;)
I've got one finger pointing to the stars and my other hand on my hip, I got my flares and matching waste coat, colour co-ordinated of course with ma 4 inch soul boots... now all I need is an AFRO! and I'll be in the groove in the groove.
I actually have no idea of what I wanted to do...it just became this way. Sometimes the songs go where they want to go, I'm not in charge.
The fingersnapping sounds are in the one borrowed loope I used but I'm considering a version with no drums at all. (Hmm...it's probably never gonna happen anyways, I tend to move on to the next projekt when one is semifinished and never look back.)
But thanks for listening!
I didn't even need to finish listening to this track to say this sounded fantastic the moment I heard the two combine. I'm still listening now... ooohhhh the strings just kicked in.
If the strings were a bit more softer/subtle and quieter, maybe they could of faded in and out. still excellent work with the pella man and welcome to the loop!
I know, I know, I know the secret! I enjoyed listening to this and everything comes together really well. Those vocals in the background really add that something extra.
