on scream wake up by Dragi89
Yes, you actually did wake me up! I was just going to bed and now it's really impossible.

Ok, no - jokes aside:
It's a good beginning. As a newbeginner to an other I'll say "Keep at it!"
The more we practise the better we'll become.

on Calvin Harris - Bounce Remix by WongKiShoo
Cool house tune - and very nice mixing/mastering by Mahloo.
Great job on the vocals!

(Gaaah I so hope he chooses my song to mix and master also...probably not going to happen.)
WongKiShoo
WongKiShoo replied 19th Jun 2014 - 12 years ago
Wow sorry for the late reply, must have missed it in my inbox!

Yeah the vocals took some playing around with, but eventually got the finale just right.. as for Mahloo doing a mix and master for one of your tracks.. why not ask him? The worst that can happen is he says "no" :)

I like the beat and you definitely have a good start here with that minimalistic melody.
Nice breaks/drops (or what are they really called?).

on Ghost N Stuff - Symphony by PRINCELECTRO
This is an AMAZING interpretation of the original track!!! And it's so much better!!
The piano, the strings, that heavy drum...brilliant job on this!

Just brilliant. This is the best one of your tunes that I've heard so far. I can't stop playing...

on YOU WAS EVERYTHING BUT SEX by abnerbesares
I'm not sure I understand your logic around relationships but you came up with a very good song anyhow.
This is a really enjoyable piece of music.

on Sik Style - No More Sorrow by SikStyle1
A good song!
Bittersweet lyrics and the melody suits them perfectly - and I loved the piano.
Also liked your voice - I say as the others have done: keep your head high and you'll make it!

on Awakening by xBioHazardx
Oh yeah - you got me dancing!!!
Loved this - really good work with the synth and beat interaction here.

Work some more on the break at 1:45 to get it...smoother maybe? Coming out from the break 2:01 works fine though.
(Is it even called a "break"...?)
And please make the hole track a lot longer.
Good job so far!

on ENFP is ME by DHankinson
The titel caught my eye - are we talking Myers-Briggs personality types or is it referring to something else?
Anyhow - it's a catchy melody, a bit annoying at first but then it really caught me.
A cool track!

Regards from an INFP. ;)
DHankinson
DHankinson replied 13th Oct 2013 - 12 years ago
Yes it is referring to the Myers-Briggs type. The song itself has nothing to do with actually being an ENFP. My song titles are usually random. Glad you liked (most of) it! :)

on Dont Need You by DjoeGio

You really created a fantastic song! Very professional sounding overall.
Great beat also, and the vocals really fit in here (unlike from in my version...).

Fantastic!

on Dark Reign by Darkreine
So what was the message from the beginning?!?! Gaah, I'm too curious - a very nice house/trance tune this one.
Dance-friendly for sure.
Darkreine
Darkreine replied 9th Oct 2013 - 12 years ago
Thanks SJ. The original had Adolf Hitler's voice on it as it was supposed to represent the Dark Reign of terror, he and others like him have inflicted on this world. I called a nazi a racist and all sorts! Gotta love music right?

on The PachelS Heart - Soleil Lune by SoraSolitudine
Beautiful!
Really enjoyable - I'm hoping you get more time for music soon, although studies are perhaps more important for the moment (mom speaking =) ).
SoraSolitudine
SoraSolitudine replied 30th Sep 2013 - 12 years ago
Yes, I guess you and she (my mom) are right. And, I'm not saying that I'm uncaring about my studies. Actually I'm concentrating very much in them. I haven't had much time for art these weeks. The thing is, my mom thinks that art is a waste of time. She doesn't understand that art makes me feel alive. So, I can compose only in my free time.
Well, thank you for listening and comment! :D

on Drop The Trap by dansjoy4
I'm hating and loving this at the same time - it's a badass track!
Very effective (an at the same time annoying) synth line, it stucks immediately.
Cool wobbles and break downs.
If someone comes up with a cool vocal to this it could be a super hit.
I didn't know you made this kind of music, Dan! You are very versatile as a producer.
dansjoy4
dansjoy4 replied 30th Sep 2013 - 12 years ago
lol...Hey thanks SJ for taking the time to listen and the compliments. Yeah I don't do this type of music often but I like to experiment with all kinds of genres. You seem to be the same way...looking forward to hearing some more of your tracks.

This sounds just like something from UB40's first(?) album from the...late70' or something.
Lovely tune - and I don't even like reggae very much. But this I liked!
