Cool Music track, Vocal track some of her words don't make any sense...
In a track that makes plenty sense, good mix with some nice sounds...
She sounds smashed, to be honest I think she was holding on to the notes
just a little too, long and fell off the note instead of falling up on the note...
If you get my drift...
Never the less not a bad project...Well done....
Thank you so much for your thoughts. I am glad you took the time and care to suggest some improvements. You are second person to say she sounds drunk or smashed. I will have to work on improving the vocals. I will also work on seeing if she can fall up.
So this is what I did, if you do the voices then a sparc bass could
be dropped in where needed...
The main guitar is the melody run with or jump all over it with voices
you know what I mean.... :-)
Maaaaaan.....This is real good, Monster groove and the keyboard line
makes the whole thing work...With a touch of class...
The feeling is Mutual for inspiration, cause " You can't make chicken soup
with chicken crap..." And what you've got going on is some, of the best soup
in town... :-)
I'm not the best player, your music feels good to me, so it's fun...To work on...
Love the guitar work Man...Are they loops or did you play that..?
If you did that's the shit right there...For this groove you've got it
hooked up right, I like where the drums sit, creates a solid foundation
for the mad stuff going on...Lead guitar could've jumped at you a little
more to inforce that move, because of what it is....Crazy good...
Vocal...Some of the tuning is clear in spots but haaa... It works...
Yea....Love that drop, I got something to knock the top off this bad boy....
I'm on it like brown sugar on beans, Man!! this is right there simple but
true to the bone...I know just what this needs...
You Know..You have a solid voice, but you want to hide it wonder why...??
I know voices and you were given a gift, he don't give'm to just anybody
if you get my drift...
Now you've got me wanting to hear more, with some real tones vocally...
This is some tough stuff, solid vocal using some tasty notes, it needs
something to run with it though to bring the message home, only because
of it's importance...Very to the point and very well done...
Could've had just a touch, more vocal, when stuff starts moving to give it more control of the front line...But that's my taste...
Adding other instruments though, may mean dropping them deeper, in the mix
so they don't get in the way of the vocal...
But for now this is very cool, and very NOW...With all this stupid stuff
going on...
An interesting way in to a complicated place, sorta like trying to fit
a square peg into a round hole....
Didn't think you could but you did and a solid job at that...
Cool project very very Nice...
You could take this Music 2 or 3 different ways, the notes the bass is playing
are blue notes, they fit the blues groove but it's also what you say and how you say it...
This could get FUNKED UP...With the right flavour of guitars and synths..
Or put a Hard Core Rock Guitar Drop on it and take it that way....
Or slick it down with a jazzy deep reverb guitar...
There are a lot of formulas that could fit the bill, in those styles
it just depends on where your heart feels comfortable....
A cool jamming, distroyed guitar with a deep reverb and echo, anywhere in the background telling the same stroy in a kind of a second voice ...... that would be nice.
Feel free to play it by yourself TG.
If you found any cool that fits - tell me :)
Very nice piece of work...lots of flavour in this with just the right
amount of space, to make it all happen...
I just got a New Car a 14 Maxima Dressed for highway rollin...
Bose Sound System that is as, clean as the Board of Health...
Got to try this in there...
Now that's a cool track, simple and direct very nicely done...
This is the kind of track that a person, with a little bit of creativity
could have some fun...Huuuummm...
thanks a lot! yes, it would be quite nice to hear some more on the top of all that, but it is not something 'in control' so I am really happy with the all of what I have already. thanks again. Alex
thanks a lot soundhound. There's no processing (chopping and like) on loops here at all - they are all at a normal speed (100 bpm) just as performed.
All the rest (synth and Rhodes improv, synth pads and the entire composition and arrangement) it's just me playing it from the keyboard. Funky drums from EZdrummer plugin.
Thanks again for listening and nice comment! Alex
Way off the wall soundwise but that's what it is right there...
Artistically it's outstanding has a good groove, the hook "Claws in me"
that applies to many things, in this nutty world every time you turn around...
Solid Mix...Nice tones on the instruments, the vocal I didn't think it would
work but in the end you started rockin, with it and it all came together...
And made lots of sense, at that point...
Hey, thanks for the feedback my friend! Listening back to this, I realize that it is pretty "off the wall" soundwise like you said. Oh well, I guess it is what it is. The hook, as you say, does apply to many things, which is part of why I felt the uncontrollable need to write this song... So many things contributed to it, mainly my cat Shiloh, then other things like relationships, addiction, the con game of the modern economy, and the drive to fix everything that is wrong whenever possible. Thank you for saying that the vocals worked as the song progressed. Some parts were easy to sing, some were not, but I achieved my goals as far as conveying the words goes. Appreciate it my friend!
U..Crazy...Hahahaha...Cool stuff...Guess we all are to some degree...
I like the moves starting at the beginning and moving with an upward
progression sound wise...
By changing Frequencies and a few dynamics, but keeping the foundation relatively the same...Funny how that works...
Simple and clean, to my ear just a touch top heavy eq. wise, but it's
a really good start...Well Done...
yes - I have been slimming down the sounds to get a balance. still very much putting this one together but making progress. probably the most elaborate percussion grooves I have attempted. more to come of course. thanks for your comment.
This is a Solid Hard Rocker, crazy good Guitar mix...
The Lead Guitar in the intro, reminds me of a tune, (Magit Brains)
By the Parliament Funkadelic...Eddy Hazel played all the parts
a magical moment in time, deep in late night studio work...
This is a really cool project, all around very well done...
Thanks much bud! That's a real compliment coming from you! Interesting that you bring up PFunk, as I've recently been working on tape looping from a George Clinton collection. Maybe it got into my head? I appreciate you stopping by to listen my friend!
