Hi Soundhound,

You might think of Tom Waits maybe. The same kind of by whiskey affected low pitched voice. Again, I love Shamoozey's acpella's, even more so when he is speaking. It is so full of soul and experience. i might say that my track adds to the vocals, not the other way around.

Man thank you for the review and thoughts, had bit of a chuckle way it was put lol, guessing from what you stated the vocal could be a fraction higher in the mix?
Must admit to adding vocal a little lower then I normally would have as one of the stems, had a slight defect to them, but will have another listen later today, if sounds okies might upload again, but for now thinking they are ok in general as they are...Again thank you for your time and review mate...much appreciated...If do change will private msg you via contact tab to see you hear difference...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

I do like this one and feels it's pretty unusual though I still have some problems with some aspects of the sound though I don't think I can make it any better.

But there's still some movement that just really gets me every time, such as the main bassline starting a 1:42 (which was constructed from different bits of processed guitar and bass guitar playing), the strings, guitar and so on.

Thanks TG. I do something similar. I am a tone whore so I usually find a tone that inspires me at the moment and record a dry signal direct from my guitar through a VST like Guitar Rig 5 or Amplitube 3. This way I preserve the original clean signal. Then I start working a riff into a whole song. I will add Bass and a lead and then tweak the levels. Then I like to switch my sound presets to other tones if anything I have doesn't sound good enough. Then once I have decided on my tones for all instruments I apply Iozone 5 to my Master and then go into each track and solo them and tweak their signal with a 5 band EQ. I then start adding the tracks together and listen for clashes and or deficiencies. I keep tweaking till I have it sounding good.
