Short but very much to the point, I hear the tweaks that are needed
didn't seem to be a big problem, never the less I understand...
Solid style of playing colourful and informative in emotion...
Hit the nail on the head with this one...
I listened through this again and have made a few adjustments in mind. hopefully will get them completed in the next few days.
Thanks for the listen and comment TG.
Funny how from one side of their mouth, they want to protect
this Country and out of the other side, of their mouth they
want to start wars all over the world...
Well if you didn't start wars, you wouldn't have to protect the
Country...
The middle east has been robbed, kicked around destroyed by
those 2 sided mouthed people...I think they've had enough I'm
sure if the shoe was on the other foot, you would be thinking
the same way...The way things are going you just may get your
chance...LOL
Musically simple clean and mixed really well...
Thanks for the feed back this track is not intended as a political view but more an interpretation of politics and music combined originally it was JFK but it sounded better with bush and the content of the speech never once came into consideration.
Solid piece of work, nice groove and melody with some candy
on top this could really be something...
For me the Bass line is unresolved and does not, take it's rightful
place in the over all phrasing of the track...
Drop a real bass on there and it will get you, to the bottom line...
I hear a lot of stuff that would bump this up...
So for now it a real good start....
EZ Soundhound
thanks for the constructive feedback
much appreciated
re the live bass would love to have that on the track i dont play guitar dj /tech engineer one man and a mac n synth
Some of the mid range synths, need a little less then a 5db push
in the top end...It would help them stand their own ground and give
them distinction in the mix...
And you wouldn't have the mud you hear...
I would chop the intro in a different, but that's just me...
Other then that Man It's top shelf...Cool track...
Interesting a few to many "let it be's" lead vocals, back round parts
are good...
I'd drop out a few lead lines, then maybe someone could spit some
rap on top of that...If you get my drift...
Other then that good groove...
Cool track sitting here with guitar in hand, I fell into a groove
like it was all planed...
Funny...How ideas just blow in on the wind, stay sharp and you
can grab one that works...
Solid piece of work, to bad no DL or I'd lock it down just on GP...
Very Nicely Laid Out... Flavourful I must say in every way...
The sidewalk patterned file, just tells me that everything is
at the same level Volume wise, much of the dynamics are lost
in that way, as well as instrumental play...
Cool Track it bounces like it, wants to go somewhere and that's
a good thing...From my point of view...
You know what needs to be done, when you have the time you'll
do them, I'll be waiting to hear it when your done..
Somethings were just never meant to go together...
Like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole, you can
try to do it all you want but it will still be wrong...
In this case sounding wrong, I use to play a tune with My Friend
George and the Parliament Funkadelic, it was called "If it don't
fit don't force it" a lot of stuff sounds forced here...
Never the less it's a Mammoth project you've taken on here, hope
to hear it again when it's completed...
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
I did not think as a mammoth project for this one, but im happy, because i especially like those tracks where i get contrary opinions (however, i'm always just hope that the positive comments are honest, and not just an gentle "a bit lame song, but why make him sad?" :D).
I think this means that the track is really "craggy", someone can hate or love it too because its features, can generate feelings - which means a lot to me.
The way things are, if you don't understand the past or chose
to over look it, then you will never understand yourself or
the future....
Because key elements are contained in both, they are the keys to
understanding ones soul, ones true inner forces of self...
Won't find it on an iPad as hard as they may look...
You won't find it unless you go deep inside....
And on this one you have ventured to your borders and looked
over and enjoyed the view, I sure did...
You've got a full deck, here but I don't know what "Trap" means...
Great Groove, Dance Track, Funk Feel, Darn near Disco...Yep
Trap where does that come from...?... :)
Nice Project Man, you are right there are lots of stuff, out there
that sounds really good...
A lot of players that know what they are doing, when I first started
on line all I did was loops, my life was turning into one big loop...LOL
HAHA soundhound. Honestly, I don't know what defines "trap" but that is the genre that came to mind when I made the song haha. It should be something more like trapstep lol. But yeah, thanks for the kind words :)
If you go to the Moon and look back at Earth, you can see the
things Man has made but you can see, Man himself with the
naked eye...
There for we are nothing more then, Molecules on this Rock
and (it) is nothing more, then a Molecule in the span of space it
is in...
My point is that Mankind has been infected by a Revers Virus made
by him, why else would he still be acting like a Caveman...
Killing just because he can, hitting People and Countries over the
head taking their stuff.... Nice way of saying (Shit)...
All the Institutions of Higher Learning with Degrees, up the
ying-yang and they have still learned, nothing or they seem to
have blocked it out, so they can remain stupid and kill each other...
This plant is the only Universe, these dummies are ever going to
see because no one else, wants this Garbage on their planet...
sorry for the late reply man, been away at a festival over the weekend.
The way i see it, like you said "we are nothing more than, Molecules on this Rock"
So us little molecules better make best of the time we have before it runs out.
Thanks for stopping by and giving a listen man :)
Really appreciate it bud
Tough track...Needs something else in the back, to define and lift
up the track...
A Synth on top and or Guitar, a Voice with a tough story about
life in the Cities of today, pick one they are all going to hell in
a hand basket...With law and order of some and for others there
are none...
You're right... I'm planning on doing vocals on this, but yeah, I hear what you're saying about a synth or guitar on top. It would lift it up real nice. I'll have to give that a try.
Really good sound and groove, not sure about Ambient
more of a chill or dance groove...
But it's nothing but some Music so call it what you like...
Why everything has to be in a box, is way below the talent
that is needed to make Music anyway...
Thank you for taking the time Soundhound.
I have no idea why I chose that genre.
Not sure I did intentionally.
I never know which one to pick half the time and may well have gone at it like blindfolded and stick a pin in it approach.
Cool track very, very nicely done lots of feel here with flavour...
I think you've out done yourself with this one My Man...
This is truly worthy of being a CD cut, royalties would be in demand
but you could make some cash with tunes done to detail like this...
Very Nice Track...Her Voice sits in it well, would've liked to hear
her do more of herself, then Bonnie...Guess that's what covers
are for most, just copies...
But I must say she did it well, the bed track is very cool to with
a solid Mix...
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, listen and post comments. Much appreciated. After reading them I couldn't help but go and listen to the Bonnie Rait version again and then play Lisa's interpretation. I have to say there's plenty of Lisa on the track particularly the long sutained notes and it's less bluesy too. Anyway it's our first track together so maybe as we progress a little more of herself will shine through.
Yes she did do well didn't she? I'm amazed at the talent and just so lucky to have someone like Lisa to work with. There is no substitute for a good voice (and she's a lovely person too!)
Love the comment "the bed track is very cool too with a solid mix". Very rewarding to hear so thanks for that.
Very tasty track, outstanding vocal just drop the peaks not the
whole vocal track...
It's in a good place, controlling the front line...Where it should be...
Strong lyrics lots of love in them meaning full...
