Quincy Jones and the boys, with a bit of Jethro Tull thrown in with the Flute...
Jones didn't write them all but I'm sure he was one of the leaders in that
style...Done for TV. Cop show...Way back in the day...
This is a cool track simple clean, vocals are right in the stream...
But you need a little somum, somum to take it to the next level
back vocals need some reinforcement, dancing with them some
keys or guitar bouncing off some of their notes...A nasty bass line
would help to...
Vocals alone are dynamically on the mark, so you don't need much...
YES.
Looooooong song...A lot of nice stuff going on, some Major flavor in the vocal
narration...Is that your voice, the deep one...?
Because the others you can tell they are spots, very cool mix as well...
Kinda lost me, going into the end though but it came alive again at the end...
No i don't do vocals so it's all just sampling and looping really. It only took me a few hours to knock it together so i'm not expecting to win any awards with it. It's just the first thing i've finished for a while so i figured i might as well post it.
Thanks for dropping in and leaving comments.

Nice track simple but very flavourful, needs some TLC with a few other
instruments just to knock it up a notch...
I'm sure someone else will jump on this...
Solid tune has a real good flow, a touch too much depth in the reverb
but over all harmonies are tight, pretty close to being just right...
Something a guitar line would help, bring it to the forefront with a relook
at placement and efx this could really be something Good...
Nice track...Lots of room to move in many directions, little short aaaah
just a clipper...
Can't wait to hear the whole ship, so far smooth waters in style and flavour
solid piece of work...
Hey TG. Good to hear from you my friend. Yeah I owe all the work to Billy with his spoken word. I just put my two cents worth in with the music. Thanks a lot for the comment. Peace.
So this is what you call techno, now I understand using the spectrum as
bouncing board with Echo on synths and voices, keeping that metal or
industrial edge on those instruments that don't play a dominate roll...
Good Mix...By the way...For me good Music is just that, good Music...
Thank you very much for taking a listen and leaving a comment! Obviously some people are questioning whether this is really techno, but I have no other idea of what it would be. It's got the right sort of tempo, it's not half-time, prominent kick and bass... minimal techno. The use of delays and things is integral to this track, it repetitive but always changing in subtleties. Thanks for your support! I agree good music is good music, there is something to be enjoyed in all genres.
Nice track...Some very rich dynamics going on, in this tune...
I do find that you need an instrument, of some type moving
along her melody, just to reinforce some of the notes shes singing...
At times her voice got lost in the harmonic space, a synth or guitar
might work well...
As it stands it's a very good track...Solidly put together...
Thanks for the comments. We will have to agree to differ on the voice getting lost in the harmonic space (I'm not even sure if I fully understand the concept) but to my ears it sounds fine and does at least pay some respect to the original Judy Tzuke recording. Glad you picked up on the dynamics as I've tried to capture some sort of light and shade.
Got a good bounce to it, things move real nice through the space in the track...
Long track....Make folks sit their butts down, after about 5min.
only speaking for myself though...
Mix is top shelf the hole picture was solid...Nice work...
Cheers TG. Sorry for the late reply (I busted my lap top and i've only just got it fixed)
Glad you could manage to keep on your feet for half of it lol. I don't actually think this track is all that great so god knows why it got so many downloads.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Didn't really mean to be so late...
Life gets in the way at times....
Short but sweet, I can tell you have a real good range a little uncertain
about going for notes, a Secret well not really...Just pull back a bit from
the mic when your going for big notes...2 to 3 inches.. will do wonders...
As well you have a solid voice but when you go outside, your range it
changes everything, if you could stay inside it, there would so many, things
you could learn to do right there and would gain so much more control
in your presentation...
Keep it simple and feel good about YOUR natural dynamics... Be you... :-)
Now this is what it is, right here...
Maaaaan... This moves real nice, needs some tender loving care, like
a touch of guitar in all the right places...Just to bump it up...
If you don't mind, I'd like to see what I could find...
