nice intro, almost reminded me of utah saints at first but then you went all trap with it. definitely not rock..That being said. I love this lumbering style you have created. Almost ominous and plodding along with a forceful intensity. I did like this one.

Thanks, Steve. I actually didn’t fuss much over the mix. As I mentioned to CinCoCent, this track is actually 4 years old. I have updated versions of some of the instruments (the Rhodes in this version is the stock instrument included with Logic Pro) and better effects plugins. But, I didn’t replace anything, so I think that’s telling me something. Sometimes better to just leave well enough alone, I guess.
Yeah, I love the drone like quality. Dreamy and concusive vocals gives me a sort of fil noire feel to this track. This is cocise, great and minimal. Slightly light in the background dissonance at 1:58 awesome work! Reminds me of James Di Salvio and his Bran Van 3000 work.
Steven
Awesome. I want to hear the whole evolution of this one. Maybe add some deep bass growls as you build it with some string stabs. Neil Bogart (RIP)of Casablanca records might be grooving his bones to this in his grave from this one mate.
Nice work

Thank you so much for listening this sound Steven!
The part that gave me the most pleasure in working on this song was the violins, I don't play guitar, I just make a little noise hahaha.
As always Marco a journey. This has nome nice dissonant tones in it. I have been listening to Psybient music lately which is very cool and relaxing and this could fall under . Suduaya in particular is a favourite of mine. But the genre is very diverse. Stay Safe

Hi Steven, thank you very much for your review, in this song I tried to generate alien sensations by combining the sounds in a non-harmonic way.
How are you my friend?
I stayed away from Looperman for a while. Greetings from Italy

Hey Domenico!
I like this. Is that a Fretless you are using? I love Fretless bass. So prevelant in the mid eighties. Cool tune.
Good to hear from you again ehh?
Steven
Yes this is awesome mate. Master of this genre you are. (Why I said that like Yoda I don´t have an answer). Listening to this it´s like you captured the feeling of melting in the same way Dali did in his paintings.
Great Work, and nice zappa like humour at the end ehh?

HEY THX CRU.....WISH I HAD USED REAL BASS....THERES SOME KINDA FLAW IN THERE WITH BASS N DRUMS IN SPOTS....AS WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY SONG I DO....I CANT GET OVER THE HUMP OF BEING PRO...WITH THAT SAID...TIME FOR SOME NEW STUFF...MAYBE IM REady for a flawless production that has imperfection...but the kind of imperfection that is perfect
Cool. This is a nice mellow rock tune. I love the guitar solo. Your chord structures reminded me in some ways of an old canadian band called Saga. Though those guys took this sound and style to another level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx7XbV82JfQ&ab_channel=onlythepianoplayer

Ok I am glad I clicked on this one. Awesome gothic groove with a sprinkling of oldstyle sheffield uk elecronica and then the D&B kicks in and smacks the industrial right out of your soul and you also managed to incorporate a dub step feel as well. super creative my friend, I am very impressed with this tune. there is so much good going on in this, hats off to you you should be very proud of this one mate! 2:15 was a nice segue. 3:14 is just pure insanity in a good way! And a nice cheeky circus ending you bastard. You do have a sense of humour ehh? Loved it faved it.

Steven
Well, thank you sir! This is some high praise. I appreciate it.
I'm not entirely familiar with the Sheffield scene, so I'm not sure which part reminds you of it. But, if there was an entire movement that my music sounds like, then I must be doing something right, huh?
I do have a sense of humor, and I'm not afraid to use it! Which got me thinking...I should put out an entirely bullshit song that's clearly a joke. Just for the fun of doing it.

Hmm, one of these times.
Thanks again, mister Steve.
Take care.
