Johnny like :-)

Lots of changes, quite clever changes I might add. The production is very well done. Love just about everything. Only prob, you got me wanting the vocals.

Nice job my friend

Very nice

I feel the same about sony acid 7 as you do about fl 9, I prefer acid 6 because half of my vstis (both free and purchased) will not work on 7, but I keep 7 because some vstis that didn't work on 6 work on 7 lol.

Your track is great. You probably noticed that I went to your first track (the last on your list) two songs ago and have since been working up your list. I want to get some idea of your development process. So far I have to say I'm impressed. You apear to have a natural ear for combining sounds into a very interesting and coherent whole.

Looking forward to the next track.

Peace Friend

But yeah, fair enough, I can see why you've started at the bottom and gone up, I've just been clicking on random stuff :P

Thanks for the review!

Very powerful piece. Prob a little short for this genre, but as it is it is a rocking little track (if I can use rocking when speaking about this genre lol).

Well done

I thought I may have heard a bit of clipping (Could also be my headphones going). But other than that, I thought the track was awesome. Great beat, excellent choice of sounds\instrumentation and super flow.

Peace

I have a feeling that if I review another one of your tracks, you'll review another one of mine.. until we both run out of tracks and start posting twice on the same song :P

As for the clipping, I think there is some because this song is so old, you could have told me about clipping and my face would have had a really confused expression on it. Like this O_O

Thanks for the review!

I liked the track a lot. One thing perturbed me though, I thought it ended too soon lol. Seriously, it is a pleasant piece to listen to and I look forward to listening to more of your tracks in the near future.

Thank you John.I was a little suprised that just the acoustic guitars alone would bring good reviews but the people i've met here are true music lovers beyond their own genres and that's what makes this such a comfortable community.
thanks again.

on Waiting for the van ft WayneThe Humps by FrenchKid18
I'm feeling a absolutely warm and cozy blast from the past. This is a sweet track containing many of the elements that made early rock and roll the best rock and roll ever.

You just keep getting better. I'd like a copy of this if you wouldn't mind sending me one. This is one for the car.

Until then a fav will have to do

on No rainbows after midnight by Kikajon
You can strengthen your voice and fill it out a bit by singing the vocals again (they will never be the same twice) and running both side by side. It is called double tracking. John Lennon loved to do it with his voice. By the way, next to me you have the voice of crooner. Anyways, I like the track. A bit more production is needed to bring out the backing track a bit more, but that's a small matter. Well done.

Love the engines starting at the beginning. The piano intro is very sweet. Nice change to the bass. Definitely not the kind of music I've come to expect from you, but as it was for a contest..... Anyways, the production was great, the instrumentation was innovative and very appealing. All in all, a great piece.

Hope you win the competition

Great track, my friend, from beginning to end. Love the way you slipped in the guitar solo. The vocals add so much to the piece, but it is definitely the whole being more than the sum of its parts.

Looking forward to hearing more of your work.

on what is love???????? by Fern13
Very sweet. It is short, but it leaves you wanting more which is a good thing. I'd fade out at the end if I were you just to smoothen it out. If you extend the track do pass it on because I'd like to hear it. As it is, it could serve as a great transition piece between two other tracks or as a runout.

All The Best

This is a very great little piece. As I was listening to it lyrics were coming to mind, like "what do I have to do, will I have to off her, is that the only way to escape Kate the stalker" lol. And yes, I have a stalker named Kate who has been stalking me for almost 2 months now. It is a living hell.

Anyways I like the piece very much. Would you sing it if I did lyrics for the piece?
