A very nice track. Makes me wish I was in Rio. The production was wonderful, the transitions smooth and the choice of instrumentation perfect. A definite fav.
Hey brother, how goes everything? I read you're a military man, respect. I am ex military myself. 3PPCLI, Third Batallion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
Your track has everything a track from this genre should have. The transitions are as smooth as silk and the production is very good. I think it could be better (as I do with everything I've ever done lol), but what you have is a great track.
Dude, this is a simply fan-bloody-tastic track. I have one request: Bring the vocals a bit more forward and then let me know so I can download a track Manson would be envious of. Love the track.
Faved and downloaded. Wow. Seriously, this is a hit. get it on the radio. If you don't have the time, I do (lost my job recently so what the hell). I'll push it for you if you want.
I was feeling pretty good about my Friday Night Rocks track till I heard this. Awesome tune.
Lots of changes, quite clever changes I might add. The production is very well done. Love just about everything. Only prob, you got me wanting the vocals.
I feel the same about sony acid 7 as you do about fl 9, I prefer acid 6 because half of my vstis (both free and purchased) will not work on 7, but I keep 7 because some vstis that didn't work on 6 work on 7 lol.
Your track is great. You probably noticed that I went to your first track (the last on your list) two songs ago and have since been working up your list. I want to get some idea of your development process. So far I have to say I'm impressed. You apear to have a natural ear for combining sounds into a very interesting and coherent whole.
Very powerful piece. Prob a little short for this genre, but as it is it is a rocking little track (if I can use rocking when speaking about this genre lol).
I thought I may have heard a bit of clipping (Could also be my headphones going). But other than that, I thought the track was awesome. Great beat, excellent choice of sounds\instrumentation and super flow.
I have a feeling that if I review another one of your tracks, you'll review another one of mine.. until we both run out of tracks and start posting twice on the same song :P
As for the clipping, I think there is some because this song is so old, you could have told me about clipping and my face would have had a really confused expression on it. Like this O_O
I liked the track a lot. One thing perturbed me though, I thought it ended too soon lol. Seriously, it is a pleasant piece to listen to and I look forward to listening to more of your tracks in the near future.
Thank you John.I was a little suprised that just the acoustic guitars alone would bring good reviews but the people i've met here are true music lovers beyond their own genres and that's what makes this such a comfortable community.
thanks again.
Absolutely awesome. What a wonderful sense of humour you have. I too like bananas, but I never thought of honouring them through song LOL. Excellent track.
I'm feeling a absolutely warm and cozy blast from the past. This is a sweet track containing many of the elements that made early rock and roll the best rock and roll ever.
You just keep getting better. I'd like a copy of this if you wouldn't mind sending me one. This is one for the car.
You can strengthen your voice and fill it out a bit by singing the vocals again (they will never be the same twice) and running both side by side. It is called double tracking. John Lennon loved to do it with his voice. By the way, next to me you have the voice of crooner. Anyways, I like the track. A bit more production is needed to bring out the backing track a bit more, but that's a small matter. Well done.
Hi John, Thanks for the advice, I might just try that out. I'll get into it in a few days, with fresh ears and mind. Thanks again för the kind words.

AllenV was right, just ask for help and you will receive. There's a great deal of talent on this site and I'm glad to see you've joined us. Let us know when this is completed.
Excellent piece. I'm loving the "music of the spheres" kind of feel and its juxtaposition with the heavier sounds. A great piece, my friend, faved abd downloaded.
Love the engines starting at the beginning. The piano intro is very sweet. Nice change to the bass. Definitely not the kind of music I've come to expect from you, but as it was for a contest..... Anyways, the production was great, the instrumentation was innovative and very appealing. All in all, a great piece.
Great track, my friend, from beginning to end. Love the way you slipped in the guitar solo. The vocals add so much to the piece, but it is definitely the whole being more than the sum of its parts.
Very nice track, my friend, hope it will be the first of many. Would you be interested in singing on one of my tracks. If so, contact me at: john.boutilier@hotmail.com
Love this style of music and you have captured the essence of what I love most about the genre. Well produced and the instrumentation choice is perfect. Makes me want to do one in this genre :-)
Thanks John.A blessing and curse...unless it's a loop it has to be guitar and bass so I try to make the best of it.I think I heard a funky blues song over at your place.
A great sounding track which demonstrates not only your skills as a song master, but as a production master as well. Combing the a capellas in such a seamless way is pure genius.
