The piece is very pretty and, despite being one of the most spartan pieces I have listened to so far, full. It is as relaxing as a summer breeze to be sure.
I can definitely see this as part of a horror or suspense movie. However, not for saw 10, for something better, yes, but I think saw should go the way of the dinosaur and just die (lol).
I agree with eshar that the double echoing didn't have to be maintained throughout the entire piece, but it didn't distract me in the least. Overall, I think the track rocks.
This is another piece that would make for an excellent cinematic or spoken word track. Might make for something very interesting in the suspense genre. As usual, well put together.
This is quite a bit different from the last few of yours I have listened to tonight. It aptly demonstrates that your talent crosses genres unimpaired. I second ThatcheR's comments. Well put together piece.
Thanks John, glad you liked it. The vocals are actual excerpts from Mel Gibsons rant floating about on the web. Eventualy I'll get around to doing some vocal work.
Sure, put up another track and don't tell me ;-) Love everything from the intro on, didn't care for the end too much though, because that meant the song was over ;-)
Seriously, the guitar kicked major gluteus maximus, love that hill billy feel. Everything was great. Production, top notch.
Well look who's up late...or is it early?
Thanks so much John,I'm trying to get through the genres I actually know first before I move on...or maybe i'm gettin' lazy cause I can barely make my own songs by myself but I got this push record and play thing down, and I got built in mics on my 8tr so i'm good to go!
Seriously,Thanks for having a listen John.
I like the track, it is very good, but there appear to be times when it kind of fades out quite a bit like around 2:53 and a couple times before and after.
Thanks for the listen and positive feedback John. Unfortunately this song is not so new. I made it about six or seven years ago I think. I would update it as I recently found the file. Alas, it was from my old computer and I don't have most of the old drum loops.
Hello my fellow canuck. A very interesting ride this track took me on, lots to entertain in the way of instrumentation and athmosphere. Your transitions are smooth and the production is very good.
Man, transitions are where it's at, it's difficult but wworth the try when it become reality. Thanks for the words man, I'll hit one of your tunes up.
Steve
Well, 0:56 came and went and it made no difference to me. The track is great. I think your choice of instrumentation is perfect for what style you are doing. I also found your transitions to be very smooth.
cheers for the review john, yeah i had changed quite a lot since u heard it, that 0.56 sec would of made perfect sence when he had written it. anyway i'm glad u liked it! :)
Well, I have to say I like everything about this track. Your words and vocals are magnificent. The production on the track is very good and your choice of instrumentation is solid.
Very sweet. I like it a lot. The production is excellent and your transitions are seamless. Instrumentation is great, but.... taper off the ending a bit nicer, like maybe fade it out :-)
My son does rap and hip hop. I'll turn him on to this one and see if he can add some vocals. Lol, been a big change in him since he found out he was going to be a daddy, lol, he used to write all this angry stuff, now he's all about cloeaning up his act. Makes me proud :-)
I agree with both smpulse and Vizun. If I were you, I would treat this as a cionematic piece and put some spoken word vocals over it froma fictional movie. Make it something real life changing, like someone had lost everything but in doing so maybe found themselves or love or something of the like. Maybe they just find that being alive is great despite a lack of riches and such.
Nice track, my friend, also, by the way, taper the ending off a little cleaner ;-)
Interesting combination of sounds (rock with some, what sounds like, techno sounds). Anyways, it works well. The production is very good and your transitions are smooth.
Another nice track. I look forward to hearing more :-)
I this the track rocks. Spoken work vocals would work extremely well over this piece. Rapping, if it didn't diminish the track, could probably work as well. But this is a sweet piece to be played with carefully.
Faved. If you would like to send me a copy of this track, I would appreciate it very much.

Definitely a lot less hectic than the last track. Some really nice transitions in the piece. Sweet way to end the piece as well.
