I think the track stands well as is and thus I cannot make any suggestions on how it might be improved. I can tell you that I enjoyed it very much and would listen to again and again without reservation.
Love type O Negative and love this track. Have you ever watched the version of original Nosferatu where they do the music? The best version of the movie I have ever seen. Needless to say, your guitar work is fantastic. A great trbute to a great muscian.
I thought the track was very pretty, though I'm not sure of it as being drum n bass. In any case, it was a very enjoyable listen, I enjoyed the track very much.
Quite frankly, I'm not too sure myself if it is DNB or chillout on speed, but its an old track, and I'm probably gonna remake it one of the days with a load of my others.
This reminds me sitting outside on a hot early, summer night. I can almost hear the frogs croaking as I close my eyes and listen. A very realxing, very enjoyable piece you have created here. Leaves loads of room for imagery.
The track seems well mastered, it sounds very very very clean. I can hear all the instruments quite well. Great choice of instrumentation and use of vocals. As NS said, it's a really nice relaxing track.
Waht a lovely ride you took me on. I'm not really very knowledgeable about exactly dubstep is, but I can tell you right now I really enjoyed this track. When creating it, did you find it difficult, but not impossible :-)
Great backing track with great vocals and lyrics equals great track. If there is something inherently wrong with this piece, I didn't hear it. Sounds perfect.
I remember the old 4 track recorders, lol, bouncing tracks down to sneak in a few extra instruments, seems like ancient history now.
I love this track. It definitely has an older rock feel to it that makes me feel quite nostalgic about that period. I think the guitar work is fine, it is just what was required for this piece. Vocals are great.
The track has a great chill out atmosphere to it that is quite relaxing. The vocals went great with the backing track. An all in all nice piece of work.
This seems like quite a departure from your usual style. However, like all of your work, it is flawless. What a great mix of genres and sounds. I love it. Reminds me of something McCartney might have done for London Town.
you're right John, it's a bit different ... it doesn't fit to the rest of the album I'm working on, so I uploaded it here ... ;-)
thx a lot for taking the time!!
peace, rei
I recognize the trumpet bit from somewhere or at least a bit just like it. Anyways, what a unique piece you have here. Great use of fading as a transitional element, very ingenious. I'd fix the end, but that is a minor thing.
I have not had the pleasure of seeing you for a very long time. I am honoured to be the first to review this track.
I could definitely see this as the backing track for a Rammstein song. Oh yes, definitely. Now if you can get Till to sing for you, you'd have a number one. Perfect backing track. What you need are some Rammstien like vocals and a singer who sounds like Till.
Thats really soooo kind of you. I must say I have not heard of Rammstein and Till before you mentioned them but after listening to them on itunes. Oh wow!! I see what you mean! They do remind me of Laibach of which I have a few 12" singles of stored away. God they were excellent!
I have to say my inspiration on this came from 'This Corrosion' and other Sisters/Sisterhood tracks so I really could see Andrew Eldritch on lead vocals. That's why I think its not finished yet. After listening to it again I want to bring the e-bow out a bit more as the melody from it is not bad!
Hey Brother, saw you had a new track so I though I should check it out. The track is really sweet, I like it a lot. A most pleasant listen.
In your track description, try putting in what your idea was behind your track, like imagery and story. I offer this advice because I want you to get as many play as possible,
Friend, the bass is too up front, the drums can barely be heard and IT ENDS TOO SOON lol :-) I was just really getting into it despite the aforementioned probs and it ended. You did that on purpose didn't ya, lol.
I wouldn't necessarily say it needs more stuff, as a chill out out track it would stand as is, except for the duration of the track and, of course, the abrupt ending.
Ahh thanks for the review.. its pretty unfinished right now. I havent EQd or mastered hardly anything yet. Most of the things I post here are unfinished at the moment. I have intentions of reuploading full tracks once I get a surplus of beats I admire :P yeah the abrupt end haha sorry about that I got super lazy!
