on The factory by IndoTronic
Very nice clean sound well laid out.
A hint of Kraftwerk type influence?
I like it.
I too have uploaded a track called The Factory but mine consists only of industrial sounds/machinery.
I spent weeks manipulating the sounds to make it as musical as possible.
How about you check it out tell me what you think?
Where yours is very clean and well balanced I don't think mine is so much.
Yours has a lot of commercial value I think where mine is just an experimental thing.
Love your track.

on College Work - Reggae by MatthewWLang
Sounds nothing like Reggae to me but it does sound like a great little tune.
Just had a listen to the other track you uploaded and that's pretty neat one too.
I'd have labelled them both cinematic to be honest.
Powerful stuff.

MatthewWLang replied 10th Jun 2015 - 11 years ago
Thanks buddy, I'd never properly listened to Reggae before, and the only reason I made this was for our world music project, where we had to make a song in the style of a country's traditional/signature genre.
This is a pretty dated song now, I had made it way before I uploaded it, it's not a very accurate representation of my 'skill', I'll be uploading a new one as soon as I'm able.

on TRVPCITY ALLSTARS - TH3 FIXXX3R by fixxx3r
Can't fault the finished product here.
Very well put together.
I just read the colab idea you posed on my thread.
I'll take that as a compliment and maybe some time a bit further down the road because I just can't commit to anything right now .... that reality stuff is taking way to much of my time just now but ... I will escape promise ya!

on BlackMagik - Last Light by BlackMagiko
Typo there ... it was meant to say I actually like the softer kick in this.
Just listened to half human and that's gotta a helluva a kick and it should have in that piece but this one to me sounds right being a little softer.

BlackMagiko replied 1st Jun 2015 - 11 years ago
Yeah I hear you man but I still think it could of used a little more presence. Thanks for the Feedback though!!

on Play All Day Feat Epic Record by DrvanLansberg
Richie is right about the vocals being in the wrong place.
It's like a three minute intro and a minutes singing at the end.
It's a shame cos there's a good piece here.

Just had a listen on speakers and the vocals are even more blurred out I'm afraid.

on Play All Day Feat Epic Record by DrvanLansberg
Sorry to be negative but the vocals seem to have been buried ... swamped.
I can't really make them out very much.
Sounds like a good piece but badly produced.
Summats not right with it in my headphones but it sounds like a good piece that needs re approaching.
Please don't shoot me.

on Arabian Nights by ReonN
1.47 to 2.06 had to write that down before I forget ... no pen handy for some reason.

I think you have got a great little number going here with a title suiting the mood of what you have put together.
But but but ... at 1.47 it fails.
The change over is wrong.
So I'd change or re do the bit between 1.47 and 2.06.
I'd also work on volume levels on the different tracks because to me it sounds flat ... no depth ... all samples at the same volume.
I'd also want a little base background in there ... maybe a drone who's volume changes here and there along the way.
I wouldn't change the piece itself though because it sounds very Arabian Nights and I can imagine people downloading it and using it in youtube vids so don't be surprised if you come across it on youtube.

ReonN replied 28th May 2015 - 11 years ago
Just as what I said to staticnomad, it's very hard for me to find a good changeover for 1:46 to 2:06. Btw, tnx for the comment XD

on Let My People Go by Billydragon1
I absolutely love your voice Billy.
I love your spirituality too.
A truth seeker and preacher of love and hope.
A people person beyond doubt.
A man for justice.
I might vote for you as king.
Let my people go?
Funny but I'm trying to write a piece at the moment regarding austerity for the common man so the wealthy elite feel no discomfort.
The demand for luxury yachts is outstripping supply while more and more people go hungry stateless homeless and fall into despair.
You have a magical presence that draws me in.
In fact I think you should see about getting a job as a voice over artist.
Great little number mate.

Billydragon1 replied 31st May 2015 - 11 years ago
Thank you brother Silver. Always an honour to hear from you.
Me as a king ...nah mate, i'm just here to serve. :)

You should definitely pursue that idea you have. Incidentally i did write something about money a long time ago, maybe this will help. The track should be on my page too.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas too. God bless you cuz.

on GangstaWalK TRVP R3MIX - TH3 FIXXX3R by fixxx3r
This is not getting the attention it deserves in my humble opinion.
You need to get your ass out on other peoples tracks to get this back in the charts my man.
No one will see your work if you don't comment on their stuff.

Hi

It's often the way on Looperman that comments on tracks can be verbose and occassionally miss the point. In this case I'm just knocked out with the brevity and hope the WOW means WOW what a great track (I'm hoping it does). Many thanks for stopping by and listening.

Best

Great voice but it all sounds rather chaotic to me beyond that.

that's a pity. have to admit i don't mind a bit of chaos. i also find too much cut and paste perfection bores me. but thanks for your opinion

Can't fault it from here.
It reminds me of something from way back but have no idea what.
Going in my favourites.

hello Silverman. Thank you for listening and taking your effortless effort to leave a comment. I much appreciate that! First of all I respect you a lot so do not worry. thanks for such an abstract comment by the way. Glad I coud help giving your works more exposure too at that time (had no idea of the particular looperman circumstances). Best to you, Alex

on GangstaWalK TRVP R3MIX - TH3 FIXXX3R by fixxx3r
CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the title.
Wonderful the piece of music.
For some reason around the 1.50 mark it started raining ... in your piece and in my head ... I had to look out the window but no nice Sunny day.
But I could almost smell the warm rain ... how weird is that.
I went back to the start and sure enough at the same point rain is evoked in my imagination.
A pleasant welcome warm drizzle.
I think you've made a very interesting piece of music there and it's gone in my favourites.
Love it.
Title ... just don't get it ... doesn't match my warm rainy shower experience at all.
Look forward to hearing more from you.

on This Could Be Love-Tropical Remix by 15ludwicke
Very pleasant experience indeed.
Have no idea what the original would of consisted of but this is brilliant.
Sounds very pro to my consumer ears.
I actually like the sax. It's a little muted as opposed to brash and in your face and I think that suits this piece very well.
Only slight niggle I have is the base that comes in at 2.47.
That to me doesn't quite sit but but but .... I have a hangover and may well change my mind after the fog has lifted.
15ludwicke
15ludwicke replied 25th May 2015 - 11 years ago
Hey Silver man,
Thanks for the kind words! I really had fun making this track, and I'm glad that you find it professional sounding! About the niggle(that just sounds racist to me. lmao) having to do with the bass at 2:47; it is the same bass that comes in at 1:16, so it may just be the hangover lol.

Anyways, thanks so much again for the feedback!

on Niggaz suffering in the ghetto by omeezedalegato
I might have to do a honky version of this because here in the U.K and indeed across the western world poverty is a growing political aim.
The Ghetto will stretch from forever to forever before long.
The demand for luxury yachts is outstripping supply but living in the fifthe wealthiest nation on the planet means we can no longer afford to look after our sick and disabled and old.
Looks like living in America the wealthiest country in history is the same ... the people black or white really don't matter.
If the wealthiest countries on the planet can't look after their people there's not much hope for any of us.
I'm going to write a song about it ... you just inspired me.
Nice tune sorry mate rant over.
