on For My Daddy I love U so much by Becca
Id have to move this out of chill out to be honest too much snare.

But overall its a nice track, id put this more into "house" really.

As a master of Metal and all things goth/Screamo (im a screamo vocalist) - I cant stand this track to me it unfortunately sounds like a mash-up of saturday night live, chav induced violence, mixed with fruity loops presets.

But i do give u dibs for trying.

on My Brain Is Working Overtime feat. Rivers Cuomo by SoundsOfEscape
I like the remix (i heard the original)

Only problem i can tell is the backing has a low end distortion that is constantly all the way through. as if you've been using a low end recorder and then edited it, as the distortion skips.

So apart from the swoosh wooosh, skip wooosh, in the back its fine.

Definately Techno, i know techno can be repetitive at times, but this is fine.

Your subtle, changes make all the difference.

No download? seriously - oh wait, my browser addon says i can download (oops)

Anywho, fresh production, this is more ebm than industrial though, but nvm :P

Keep up the vibe.

on Keep on pushing through; Global Ska Network by SLAPJOHNSON
Hey slap, that collab is around the corner as soon as i get my beat running properly. (and call me jez :P)

So what can i say about this ska track, hmm, being in a ska band once, i can say this is awesome work mate, the melody, your horn/sax work and mastering are just sky rockets to the moon, with jelly and icecream for all :)

As always ska is close to my heart and thus, you've made me a happy bloke today :P

on The Nerve (JUNE All Genre ENTRY) by sobstory
This sounds like my old band :P - except my old band was more ska like and had trumpets and a keyboard.

Nice melody, style and composition.

Cant see a flaw in it really lol

on Synthetic Harmony by ZWR
Chilled out beat, the changes are good, but the track lacks a sense of direction (if u get my meaning)

Its lead is on the slight repititive side, and overall i guess the track is too short to really derive a good review of what could be added or follow.

This is a good starting point, the track could be made longer with a chorus line, and an ending that sounds completely or close to completely different.

Dont get my wrong most of my first stuff sounded the same way, but with guidance and of course the looper crowd expanded further.

Thanks for the Upload.

It was just an idea that I had at the time so i wasn't really going in a set direction, i was willing to let the creative process go ahead of a planned set structure. All music is repetitive for a set period of time until it switches up. I have to agree that it is a good starting point because the track itself isn't a very long piece of work. None of your work sounds like this because I made this.

on Polyglot Pidgin by n0mad23
sounds like a college party i went to once, when i got totally smashed and everything sounded like one, but your track doesnt, it has a clear and even set pieces, and yea reading planets review it does need some high end or low end action. I was thinking maybe some kind of aborignie (i cant spell it) dancing or something, that would go well with such and organic arrangement,

Well done as a whole though :)
n0mad23
n0mad23 replied Unknown
Thanks DJ_JEZZA. High and low end action...this has got me thinking about the possibility of a drone weaving in and out as well. I'm going to pull up the multi-track and see what might work. Thanks!

Ill spare the long typing.

Jazz style drums go well with this track, the vox, is used well and the track is well mastered.

Seriously I'm surprised I have not come across you before around the loop.

dubstyle drums, with strings and a shallow bassline, they go well together, good use of loops and good mixing.

I would gladly collab a remix of sorts to this if possible, or collab a new track and let u play with my ropes if u get the drift.

the lyrics....
Your down again,
I can see that you'v been cheated.
And your heart has been mistreated.
Dont you worry, girl I got you,
I'll revove this cloud your under.
You can trust me, you will never need another.
I'll bring you through your morning sunrise.
I can hear you call, im here for you..
Be your every thing,
take you far from your misery.

Chorus
I can hear you heart,
I can hear your heart like thunder
I could be just what you'v been dreaming of.
I'll remove this cloud your under, and
bring you through your mourning sunrise.

The pain is deep,
and the words they are still ringing.
In your thoughts the nightmare singing.
you can fight this, I will help you.
By your side I'll be here waiting.
You will make it,
Be your bridge I'll, take you over.
And bring you through your mourning sunrise...

Chorus.. Its sung along with the sax...

on Falling towards the sky - By Eshar (Gone remix) by Steevo
good vibe, good track.

Only problem i can see is there isnt much of a natural vibe with the lyrics, theres far too much "phase" which, spoils the backing vibe.

but hey keep it up :P
Steevo
Steevo replied Unknown
Thanks for the listen Jezza, was not sure what phase meant so Wikied it and: The term, like sentence, verse etc. has been adopted into the vocabulary of music from linguistic syntax. Though the analogy between the musical and the linguistic phrase is often made, still the term "is one of the most ambiguous in music....there is no consistency in applying these terms nor can there be...only with melodies of a very simple type, especially those of some dances, can the terms be used with some consistency." So it's me and evry one else :-)
Nevertheless I agree with your comment, I don't this mix of two elements stands up to close examination, and I wish I could have done a better job with Eshars track, still trying to grow, with very little time between work and well you know the rest of things............. Peace.

on COME DOWN SELECTOR (bass, guitar, etc) by MiracleManTracks
Overall this is more 2step/garage the bass is no where near what it shud be for dubstep, (you basically shud almost get drowned in it)

The idea is good, but as others have said, wheres the bass?

I'll give u a 8/10 for the try though.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll repost this in the Jungle/garage area. Appreciate the feedback. Peace and love.

on The Machine by MisterFujisam
thought i'd hit u back on the great review u popped one of my tracks, love the bass on this tad on the overload of the eq though (and i got a top end system) - nothing a filter on my bass unit cant fix though ;)

Apart from that, good vivid lines and synths.
however i do think it needs breaking up a little faster, with the parts and one of the synths needs a tune up?

Great overall :)

on Ax Dj - O Yeah Man by AndreaDub
Might want to change the genre on this one, Disco doesnt fit the style, this is more dance or hardstyle electronic.

Other than that is fine.

Which program u using? - sound like fruity/live to me

Tnk Jezza,
the programs i use are : fruty loops, mixcraft 4.5

Cool Vibers, I'm a bit out of touch with the music scene at the moment, but i love this "outdated" feel, its rather refreshing and all the pieces fit together perfectly.
