Boy! Slap and that lower register growl, is what’s up. Very cool track.

I see what you mean about Industrial confusion. This one certainly fits the bill for the dance side of the genre. Very nice choices of sounds and a great mix, too. Love the depth of that bass!

Lol - only if those Marines keep dancing in time with the beat do they have any chance of making out of this one! Love those percs you're using - remind me a bit of my favorite early Industrial/Dance stuff (Test Dept. etc.). And the deep frequencies keep it edgy and interesting. Nice one.

Feelin this for sure. Love the descrip before and applying that to the feeling as I hear this, the end result is a pretty good feeling man! Great job on the intro.

jezza, this is really a nice fusion of great ideas, only suggestion, my opinion...would be to beef up the kick and snare..at times it has a Bill Laswell/Material type of vibe and a little ambient...like this a lot!
thanks for sharing your artistry!!

This is definitely fairy tale like, I like the small dissonant subtle touchs here and there...I might like hearing real strings too, or...how about a mix of real and synthetic instead of changing the sound completely to real...maybe...nice, nice work!!
thanks for sharing your artistry!

This is a really unique track! It really does tell a story though, I read the description first and didn't know what to expect, but I'm impressed. I really like how the energy builds throughout the track, it's very intense. I can hear them running forever in this music. Really good work!

I really like how the instrumentation washes in and out like the tides, it really is very relaxing. This really does sound very old school, as in analog, though I'm sure it's not. I think it would be great in a movie to. Nice work!

Wow! For some reason minus the people samples, etc, what I came away with from this track, was something more along the lines of what I would hear in a horror/sci-fi film. LOL, great job I enjoyed the creativity of this track.

This is a good electronic track a bit different as Acrylic says- keeps your attention all the way through After reading the description I thought the track suited it really well.
Good luck in the comp

Fab - now I don't have to pull my track from the competition on principal. I can't bring myself to vote for someone running unopposed in an election and I wasn't going to be the only entry in the genre. Thanks for that alone! Now my review: I really like the layering you've got going on in this. I think it's what's truly attractive in both Ambient and Dub genres and it's good to see someone taking advantage of it. The nervous and somewhat dark emotional locations you invoke with the tonal choices is really good - and slightly reminiscent of early Industrial music (I'm thinking the spin offs of TG) but doesn't go to nearly the same depths of psychotic or neurotic exploration. Thank goodness! Is the track supposed to just cut out a 5:02? A bit disconcerting that. The clicking in the beginning (when synths come in @40 sec) might be addressed, too (but then it could be I'm hypersensitive trying to get rid of same in my current project). Some really nice stuff in this - cheers!

Nice use of triplets in the melody. Very odd and different i like it. A little creepy. Coolio. My only critisism is the synth needs to morph or something at the end of the phrase to shed off that weird something, oh i cant explain it. oh well maybe you understand me through some unknown means. Keep up the good work! Cheers,

An interesting journey indeed, your description fits the track perfectly!...I'm not familiar with this genre, but I think i'll be checking your stuff more for sure...nice synths and the mix seems balanced with these different types of sounds,i.e not all musical tones
thanks for sharing this track!!

love the dub vibe, and bass line, good mix of electro elements, I like this because it sounds original, not like anything around, great mix of the voice and gun effects, all it misses is a great rap flow over it, enjoyed it a lot. great job. Peace Love and Freedom to do Hip Hop if you feel like it.
