Nothing gets me like a good tune, and this track has it in abundance. Another thing I like is that it's a perfect length for what it is; just enough of it to feel satisfied, but not too much that it seems drawn out.
Good start. The beats, bleeps and random madness are well done, as is the mixing and mastering (for the most part). However, I would lose the talking vocals or at least dampen them, as currently they're very loud. Also, by half way through I felt the track was losing direction. It does sound like stuff just as you say 'thrown together' rather than planned. That's not to say it's bad; it simply needs work. I'm very new to music production so unfortunately I cannot offer any advice, but I hope I helped somewhat.
thanx yah i appreciate it! im still learning my looping and my program and wat not so more stuff will come together better once i get more practice in!
I didn't know Supercharger was one person called FreeRadical.
Hooked from the first beat! Love the way the music rises and falls and subtley shifts. Great work!
Thanks mate. Sorry to take so long in getting back to you. Things have been a little messed up for me this last month or so. I'll get back to you properly when i'm sorted out which shouldn't be too much longer (i hope)
Anyway thanks for stopping by and leaving comments.

Jazz isn't normally my thing, but after reading your forum post I was intrigued. And I'm happy my intrigue paid off, because this is amazing. Weird and unpredictable, twisting and turning here and there... and those vocal manipulations, although jarring at first, add an extra strange edge to it that I ended up liking. Can't find fault with it!
thanks - I'm not really sure the genre would be jazz - I just couldn't decide. I agree about the vocal manipulations being a little jarring - I had to put quite a few filters on the vocals - I wanted a clean crisp sound but at the moment our recording quality isn't good enough to be unaltered. Thanks for your kind comments!
Hot and happy little trancey number thingy yeah!! (in other words I don't know what to say that hasn't been said before so i'll just say something silly instead). You and Logan P should team up. I think the Dutch guys would be scared.
Long time overdue checking out your tunes, and I must say... can't stand the original, but your remix not only makes something listenable out of it; it makes it good. Kudos to you and Mahloo.
were you smoking DMT with the aboriginals....or am I (but I'm so tripped out that I'm hallucinating I'm in my room listening to music in looperman)??. In other words... David Lynch should call you for soundtrack work. Now.
Creepy indeed, and bassy enough to worry my speakers. It's a good track and mixed well, but the whole thing would sound better with slightly more variation (perhaps another intrument melody) after the half way point, or vocals throughout.
Not good enough for release? You are your own worst critic. Gorgeous soft melody, cool sound effects, and trippy, fizzy kind of atmosphere (if that even makes sense?). I'd say the drums could be stronger but I guess it was your intention to leave them light. Good work!
Hey EDCA,
I may remix this, I just don't want to make another mix without that chord progression, so I might have to to sample it and us the sample in my mix... Thanks for listening, this is one of my more sentimental tracks.
Heavy, hot n dark, like.............................................................................................................................................................................................. Satan's bed time cup of cocoa.
What, did you think I was making some allusion to sex?! Ehhhrrr...
Light n streamlined, floaty trancey dubby-steppy ness. Could it be called chillstep, I don't know. But it's definitely chiller than the beers in my fridge. If I was a synaesthesiac I'd say it felt like bubbles. Beer bubbles. Yeah. Thumbs up!
Like what you've done with the vox (not that I heard the originals), and that vocal hook is fantastic. The whole style of the piece reminds me of the soundtrack to the video game Midnight Club II; aka great driving music. It's very gamey music. Something I think could be improved is the vox; they're a bit too loud and at times and dominate the track in a way that they shouldn't. Other than that, yeah, all good!
Dude thank you for the kind words - you should check her out she has some very good vocal samples available - I will have a look at the frequency of the vocals, might be they are a little foward, well picked up and advised - I appreciate the listen -
I'm in retro wonderland. I too agree with the other commenters about the clap; it's more than slightly overbearing. Other than that I'd say this is really good and it holds together perfectly and it certainly made me wanna get up and bust a move ^^.
Hey EDCA thank you for stopping by and commenting on this track..i am trying out some new ideas and im glad you guys commented on the sound quality...sometimes i get ear deaf!! because i record mostly with headphones...i will tend to the matter quickly...i appreciate you taking the time for me...
I'm not a fan of jazz but this is pretty damn amazing work.
Perfect mixture of vibrancy and chill that would sound great in a small club atmosphere. Love the nylon hook but the bass is what gets me; very groovy. Whether you physically played all those instruments yourself or input them on the piano roll (I'm guessing the former), it all sounds very skilled and even more so because it flows nicely together. There are no clashes or mismatched harmonies.
Hi MissE (Australians invariably shorten people's names,it's in our short term attentive convict DNA or something)..Guilty as charged your Honour..yep I played all the instruments!lol...the only piano rolls I have are in a box somewhere (I do own a pianola)haha.....thanks very much for the listen, very much appreciated!..cheers Dave :)
