Really nice track! Love the tranistion to the drums and the drop is really engaging. There is so much variation and small stuff goimg on which gives a real energetic vibe to it. Eventhough the noisy part really is a part of breakcore I do think there are some clipping issues. Maybe you could take another look and see where the frequencies are clashing. It might make this sick track even better. But hey, that is just nitpicking....Good stuff!
3xOsc is such a powerfull tool. This track is a great example! Really nice build up with the slide notes. Eventhough it is Ambient, i was hoping for a drop because the build up is really going towards a climax. But I respect the choice and it probably is my EDM brain that wants this hahah! Really nice track!
This tune is damn sweet. Has a bit 70s funk in it as well. The arrangement keeps me on the edge of my seat. You really know how to emphasize the instruments in a way that they shine together. Something I can really learn from. Mix is top notch as usual. Do you have music on spotify/YT?
hey mudhoen! Thank you for stopping through. It's really great what you heard proved to be an worthwhile listen. The 70's funk is one thing that's virtually impossible to escape. Especially with the resurgence of authentic ol skool funk. I'm in the mid stage with my art work for my music I'm releasing on Bandcamp. So YT maybe later. I'm not feeling Spotify yet. A few of my musician buddy's have told me horror stories about their experience. The time, comments, and compliments are treasured in a big way.
Damn guys! This is real heat coming out of my speakers! It sounds so familiar yet original and refreshing. Every vocal is so different but fits together like a glove. The beat is really the backbone and really lifts the track to a higher dimension! The addition of the guitar gives it even more energy! Love it!
Well we can't hope for a better reaction than that, my friend. We set out to try and do something special when we formed this group, and we have come so far since then. Many of our songs are alot like this one, with guitar and heavy rock elements. Pnnywze is a mad scientist man. Thanks for the support!
Wow! This is some good usage of a loop, eventhough you dont use them a lot. I like the rain effect, it really adds to the vibe of the song. Did you do the vocals of the track? If so, damn! You got some talent, good sir! I might do a LM loop mix as well. Fun to use some loops from other members of the community.
You're right, I don't use loops very often because they're rocket science to me. Haha. But this one was too good to pass up. I'm glad the rain effect worked for you; I was hoping it would help set the mood and tie everything together.
And yes, those are my vocals. I still track my vocals in Adobe Audition 1.5... old school, right? Haha.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm primarily a vocalist, so hearing that means a lot. I'm looking forward to hearing your LM loop mix as well. It's always fun to see how different people interpret the same source material.
Love the drop! Really pumping up the energy to the maximum! The kick is really pushing through and the loops chosen are fire! I can hear you really put the time in to make this track as good as it is! Instafavoured!
Good ol'Danke droppping some fire music! A bit more spicier than I am used to hear from you but nevertheless another gem! I dont understand the language but the message is more than clear, hahaha! Good stuf and looking out for more music from you or with your band!
Pretty nice try on the Trap genre. A good melody and nice chords! The kick drum at the end is hitting. I suggest you use a real 808 in place of the bass sound or combine the bass with the kick to get thump on it. This will make the track even more bombastic.
Top notch beat with solid bars! Must have been a joy to work on this track! The mix is damn clean. The vocals are perfectly on the beat as well! Good stuff!
Damn mister! This is such a unique sound. Love how you pan the voice from left to right. Really adds to the message of the track. Hope your sciatica is less painful now. Good thing is that due to the pain from it you made this playful masterpiece.
thankyou for your stop bruv its nice to see you around and giving me a listen, hope your still enjoying your music, its always nice to see old faces too, thanks for your thoughts on my sciaitica, its still painful, but your right about using that pain to motivate and try deliver it with a feeling, I love that description playful masterpiece, it don't take long for somebody in our community puts a smile on my face, thanks mate, you did
Wow Rita!
Hey Mark. Saw you replying on an old track of mine and it felt like a cue to get back to LM and listen to some great stuff over here. To see you on top of the tracklist made me smile and I knew it was the good decision! What anice track my man! You definetly did not lost the magic touch. So much going on in such a clean mix. Very solid composition and especially the brass is carrying this beautiful piece of music eventhough the drums are top notch as well. Is this played live?
mudhoen Welcome back! Thank you for the stop, time, and feedback. It's really great you found everything to your liking. This one was multi tracked in my studio. Your compliments are valued in an huge way. Be safe.
Love the deep drone sound, it has so much layers to it and gives a great vibe. You really know your way with the synths. Arturia Labs and Pigments are in most of my track, love the warmth they bring.
After you reviewd my track I was very curious what you have put on here. I knew from your knowledgable review that you know what you are doing and I wasn't dissapointed. First of all I don't know in what genre to put this. But it is unique in its own way! Really love how this track evolves and evolves from heavy rock into a very tensionfilled bridge working into the more metally vibe. Feels like an explosion of energy. The crisp clear mix defeintely helps with this. I especially love how you panned your instrumenst to give them more space to shine. With a stereo imager you really see how you expanded the sound to make it very full and clear! Nothing is overscreaming eachother which can happen fast when mixing guitars and drums. All in all this is just a very special piece of music and I will listen to it a few more times, as I can learn from this a lot!
Mudhoen, Hey, sorry for the late reply. The work week tends to use up all of my time for anything other than eating and sleeping.
I think as far as genres go, I would ultimately describe it as heavy progressive rock. But, metal works for this site.
Mixing metal is definitely a tricky one. Getting all of the frequencies to sit where they need to and mind their manors takes some practice. I have a decent grasp on the concept and theory, but the application still leaves room for improvement.
I truly appreciate you taking the time, and leaving a thoughtful, and encouraging comment. It helps me keep on it.
Take care.

Damn, very funky fun track. So many things going on without being an absolut chaos. I have been away from LM for some time now, but the talent has really grown in here!
Thank you for listening and commenting on my music. I am really glad you liked it. I try not to create a fuss of instruments in my mix. It is good you didn't feel there was a chaos.
My regards, Anthony.
Hello mudhoen, thank you my friend for the comments and giving this track a listen.....I enjoy trying to play the guitar, it's a crazy instrument and sometimes it will surprise you....gonna keep at it until I get right. Again thank you.
Was dropping by on LM and the first thing was searching for one of your tracks. I gladly didnt get dissapointed. I think the first time I hear you making soul music. The vocals are so well mixed in the rest of the track. They sound so warm. Great vibe, Danke! thanks for sharing this piece of gold!
Good stuff MrAxel. You can hear the fun you had playing! I think the mix is well balanced except for maybe a small boost to the mid-lows. The instrumenst all have their place and shine as the should. Hats off for making a great track and a fun one to listen to.
You really know how to set a dark and creepy mood. Nothing over the top but subtle effects to keep it exciting. The eerie drone backing pad gives it all the backbone it deserves. Great stuff!
Very warm and vibey tune with some nice saturated effect. It is probably a question of taste but maybe a little vintage effect on the drums would fire up the mood even more. Nevertheless they are mixed in very well. Love to hear more!
