Hey Ella, nice chill out tune you made here. This is the second song I'm hearing from you and again you combined two different genres I wouldn't have expected to go together. Whats more impressive is you did it so seamlessly. This is definitely for the long car rides. Great work, again.
Hi Modnex, this is not the first time I have been told that about combining the two genres and I'm a bit confused. It is a very popular thing to do nowadays. Everyone is doing it. There are a trillion mixes on YouTube that combine Deep House, regular House and other genres with a mild lofi flavor if that is what you are referring to. I'd love to take credit but I certainly didn't invent it that's for sure ;) I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. =)
That bass is killer. I liked how you structured the sounds and brought everything in. I would love to hear how a drill rap artist would sound on this. I hope you find someone. By the way the Egyptian sound that came in around 0:59 seconds was a nice touch and good change up. Good one.
The atmosphere right off the bat was great. The track has a dreamy atmosphere to it and that has a lot to do with the pads and synth choices, which was great. I wasn't expecting the hiphop-ish hihats, but I was not mad at that decision. It helped move the song along. Good job. Keep up the good work.
Nice track you got here. Looperman definitely has some great loops here, and its always nice to see them be put to good use. Good work. Doing the community proud.
The different type of scenes that your music puts in my mind is the reason why I enjoy listening to your tunes. You never know what to expect with you and you never disappoint. I love the vibrant sounds and rollercoaster this one takes me on. 3:47 is definitely my favorite section. Great work as usual.
I have to say, this is the first time I'm ever listening to a "melodic techno track" and I really enjoyed it. It reminds me of something I would listen to in a long car ride home, just to help pass the time while also soothing the mind, ears, and soul. The atmospheric pads + the vocals + the beautiful melodies = an equation, not even Einstein himself would deny. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing!
I always like hearing atmospheric, cinematic tracks. I love the creepy vibes coming from this one. I could see this one appearing in some type of a thriller flick. Good job.
I love the atmosphere of this one. I'm happy you finally decided to share it with us. The slow downed vocals with the instrumental you constructed fits like peanut butter and jelly. It almost gives off sad pop-ish vibes. It works well with the music of today and would fit on most music stations. Great job.
Most irritating is hearing things I should've done better.. I think I should never make something I hear all day on the radio.. :-) But thanks for listening and your feedback!
Dang, this is great! The instrumental has a grunge old-school feel to it, and the deep lyricism only adds to that. This is the perfect example of what great collaborations look like. I Look forward to hearing more.
Long time no see, bud! Your brother's vocals are great and works superbly with the fantastic instrumental you've constructed. For some reason your music always makes me nostalgic and emotional and I absolutely love when a song is powerful enough to do that. It's quite impressive I'd say. And what's even more impressive is that your entire family is that gifted. As usual, you didn't disappoint. Welcome back my friend.
Thanks and nice to see you too, Modnex! I've all but grown up and got a job and am engaged now. I still do music but not as much. As I make new stuff I'll for sure post it here!
I don't know if I would call this rap but it's a great track nonetheless. It sounds like it's a form of chill-step. The mix is also superb. Great work!
I like what you got so far. The bass hits hard and the melodic sounds are great. A great start to a melodic, chill-step track. I can't wait to hear the final version!
Great work! This sounds professional and radio ready. Nice collaboration. My only critique is for the ending. I think it would have sounded smoother if the whole song faded out instead of having the instrumental then the vocals fade out. But that's just personal taste. Regardless, nicely done.
For a first try, this is pretty dang good. My first try at different genres always ends in ear-homicide. He should be proud of this one. It's a great little track. Nice one, lads.
Nice one, Wayne! It's been a while since I heard a song from you. The intro was very fascinating. I loved the experimentation with loops in this track. I don't know why but I got super Halloween vibes from this one, almost a nightmare before Christmas sort of thing. That works perfectly since Halloween is right around the corner. Your voice never disappoints and I was happy to hear it once again. As usual, great track. Adding to my favs.
A Nightmare Before Xmas, I liked that movie a lot, cool reference!
I usually don't use loops, as a practice, as the main foundation of my tracks so when I do it's a lot of fun experimenting with sounds and effects I normally don't use.
You have a decent track here. I think you did a good job at making all of the sounds work together. And you incorporated the acapella in very smoothly. With that being said, I think some things can be altered to make this track even better. The mix of this is extremely loud. I had my volume at 48% and still had to turn it down because my headphones were literally shaking. I would suggest lowering the DB sound levels just a bit.
Over time the track became a bit repetitive. I was expecting to hear a bridge, a drop, and some more variation in the instrumental but was fairly disappointed when it just cut off for a few seconds and repeated what I just heard. I think if you worked more on this, you could have a really great track on your hands. You most certainly have a well-grounded foundation for what could be a mainstream radio-played track. You just need to work out the kinks and fix some things. All in all, good work sir.
I agree, Sergi can sing. The instrumental you created around his vocals fit perfectly. This sounds mainstream and like something on the radio. My only critique is about the length of the track. It should have been longer, but I can't as I suffer from short-song-syndrome as well. Regardless great work and keep it up!
Hi. My name is doofus ... (hi doofus) ... and I suffer from short-song-syndrome.
But like that's how long his acapella was. So what am I supposed to do? loop it? I couldn't. The acapella was that long, so that's how long the song was. The sun rises in the east. I cannot change these things. But! I do appreciate your kind words. Thanks man.
I know this track is 11 years old but thought I comment anyways. I got orchestral inspirational vibes from the intro, was that done purposefully? I definitely wasn't expecting what it led into. This track should have gotten radio play because it's that good. Great work!
It was supposed to go in a different direction.I tried something different.I think it worked and thanks for the kind comments.. Appreciate it Bro..Can't believe was 11 years..not been on site for quiet a few years now..Checking out the talent
