I can always leave it to you to talk to my soul with your music. The lovely sounds work for a rainy day at home but at the same time makes me want to put on a jiving suit and go down to the disco dance hall. Wonderful as usual, adding to favs.
Modnex. Gratitude for the stop, listen, fave, and kind comments. Where I am the rain has been crazy. Yep just the right circumstances for the musical flow. I’m humbled this one resonates with you as I stated this was a total blast. It’s also good hearing from you. It’s been a minute. Be safe.
I get so many different emotions from this one. I feel relaxed but at the same time, I want to throw something. Also, love your choice of sounds. Nice chill hop tune.
Man, I missed drum n bass. I forgot how great it could be. This track definitely brought me back to 2010-2012. Superb work. Thanks for the nostalgic run. Added to favs.
Right from the start this track hit hard. The guitar work is insane and super impressive, did you do all of the guitar work yourself? Who am I kidding, of course you did. I felt like I was at a legendary concert while listening to this. Brilliant.
Hey Mate, I wish I could play guitar like that. That is the usage and slicing and dicing of a very famous Guitarist (Marty Friedman) who kindly lent his skills for a Loop-based sound that I bought at Loopartists.com. I wanted to make a song that had synth elements and wasn't a traditional HM song. Using his fantastic guitar loops I was able to use my VST skills and percussion acumen to make this tune. For me, it was more about the production ability and the merging of 2 completely different ideas to make a new one. I am glad U enjoyed it.
The percussion and the guitars on this are brilliant! Your vox always impress me. I'm not sure if this is the right genre, but nonetheless a very great track.
I've never heard an afrobeat track before, but if this is what is to be expected I might start listening. The ethnic vibes and the beautiful textures are explosive yet subtle. The vocal addition was a nice touch. Great job.
This one has a lot of potential for sure. The vocals are nice, but in my honest opinion, it doesn't fit the instrumental. In some parts, it feels like the instrumental and vocals are fighting one another to be on top. That's just my two cents but otherwise, I think you did a good job and could see this one being a massive success with some tweaking.
You're definitely onto something here. I feel like there's so much potential for this one. If you were to put a melody down around 23 seconds, something dark and sinister sounding, and added more variation, I feel this could make for a Korn-like rock/metal song. If you're open to expansion on this one, we can collaborate, and I'll add some vocals.
Your vocals are great! Your vox reminds me of old rock bands like the American rejects. With that being said, I would have liked to hear a little more range variation, but that's just personal taste. Well done, sir.
I'm a huge fan of d&b, vocal sampling and the joker; so in my book you've already won. This track was a smooth ride throughout. I could visualize playing this on a long night ride home just wanting to relax. Great work!
Great track here, Bao! I've never heard that poem, but I'm definitely going to check it out now. The guitar work is so good. The change-up at 1:23 was enjoyable and unexpected. By the way, your vocals sound really good. It's unique and works well with the track. Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks buddy!
The "unexpected" change has been replaced by a more smooth transition - I know you phrased it as a compliment but I think it's a bit better now :)
Thank you so much for listening!
I'm surprised I'm just now hearing this. This reminded me of old western movies and films made in the 80s. I love films from those eras so that is beyond a compliment. Well done, sir.
Nice one, Balur! I used to listen to drill back in the day and this one fits the genre to a tea. Now you just need a dope lyricist to hop on it and you'll have a banger.
You know I had to hit listen after seeing 2pac's name in the title. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. You achieve that 90's west-side hip hop vibe all the way. His vocals fit great with it. I would have liked to hear a little more variation in the instrumental, but that's just personal preference. Great work, mate.
I don't think I've ever heard you do this genre before. The combination of metal into this genre is unique and done so seamlessly. I enjoyed every second of it and I especially loved the guitar playing that comes in around 2:37. I always love how detailed your tracks are. As they say, the little things count, and you always pay attention to the small details. Who vocals were used at the end? It was a nice touch. It almost sounded like a house track around that bit. As usual mate, you didn't disappoint. Fantastic work!
Thanks Mate, how are you feeling these days. You are correct it is about the details and the small subtle things. The vocals were a vox sample that I hadcalled Apollodor- "this game" in Aminor
I never heard the original, but this version was an interesting take. My only criticism is that there were no claps/snares in the entire track. I feel the track would have been even better with the addition of it, but that is just my preference. Regardless, good tune.
Appreciate that!! There are claps but they are stuttered and chopped. If you are up to it remix and a put what you feel in there and send it to me. I would honestly appreciate it. And I will credit of course "free Crack 314 at Gmail dot com"
Great track here, Shatner. Always bringing the heat with the bars, and amazing flow. This type of rap is what the industry needs to convert back to. I'm sick of the mumble-jumble.
This one is definitely ready for vocals. I might give it a try and see what I can come up with. Do you have an email or somewhere I can contact you if I do come up with something?
This song is a mix of so many things that I would have never thought worked together. Not only did you make it work but you did it in the greatest way possible, smooth like a criminal. It's like rock, jazz, and a little sprinkle of hip hop all bundled into one. Great work here!
