on 15 Minutes Isnt All We Can Have by MOONLYTE
This is a massive improvement on the last piece of yours i listened to. The guitar playing is good, the vocals are pretty good & so are the lyrics.
But as already stated, the levels are way too loud. (remember, if the master is in the red you need to turn it down)
But well impressed with the improvement so keep it up. You'll nail it eventually and i don't think you're far off.
Keep 'em coming

on OMG - Matty Myles by Lithman
Well R&B aint really my cup of tea but i can tell that this track is well written and well produced. Everthing is ell mixed down and it sounds as good as any regular R&B tune to me.
Good Job.

on On The Horizon by toddj
This sounds a bit like the backdrop to the game i was just playing. Creeping round the subway killing aliens and stuff.
It turns a lot more atmospheric later in the track though. It's dark and twisted but also at the same time very melodic and that's not an easy vibe to pull off.
Would make a great back track for a movie or sum ting.
Glad i dropped by for a listen.

on Modnex - Adventure Land by Modnex
Why do you go under the name Gzglitchers when your avatar says Modnex just out of interest?
I don't usually start a review with a question so i'll crack on. Really liking what i'm hearing here. The choice oif synths is perfect for the melody. Really liking this track a lot and i'm going to fav and download it. Shame it's only three minutes long as that lick could have gone on for hours.
Impressive stuff.

Thanks man! To answer your question, I actually started an account on here before I got into making music. Gzglitchers was my youtube channel account which was quite popular when I made this account. So I decided to use it on here since I didn't plan on making music. I downloaded my first and last loop and forgot about this website until like 4 months after. By then, I learned how to make my own songs and decided to visit this AWESOME community daily. Turns out everything worked out great, made new friends and my music skills continues to grow.

(Sorry about the essay -__-)

I'm glad you enjoyed this. I was going to make this longer but thought smaller is sometimes better. Thanks for tuning in, much appreciated. Have a nice day! :)

Like the title so i thought i'd drop by and give you your first comment on it.
At the moment it's reminding me a little of Deep Dishes Flashdance but only because it has a rock guitar and a house beat. Whatever you want to class it as it's pretty cool.
I hear this and i can't help but get the party started. Just cracked open my first beer, so cheers for getting the party started.
I like the vocoded vocals and the change about half way through where you bring the synths in.
This is a great track and it's definitely going in the favs.
knok out track mate.
Now i'm just going to kick back and listen to the rest of it while i sink my bud.

Thanks for the nice Comment Bro*
The Synth Sequence was Tricky to build up, so i had to modify it. I think it sounds quite acceptable.

P.S. How´s the Party going, is there any Progression`? :)

on Bastille - Bad Blood - Remix - FreeDownload by Lenerd73
This is really good. I don't think the drum masks the vocal at all, I can hear everything perfectly.
The mix is good, the singing is on point and the arrangement is pretty wicked as well.
Great track.

I remember Mike and i was wondering what had happened to him.
This is a great piece that you've put together here to remember him.
Mike always used to review my tracks and say nice things (even if the tune was crap lol)
Anyway, well done for this splendid piece of guitar work and vocal layering.

Like what i'm hearing here. I thought i was the only one who did metal techno so it's nice to see someone else promoting that sound. Really dig the arrangement of the gutars an the way the riffs change (especially like the arabian lick.
Now it's gone mellow and the vibe has changed again.
It's not easy to make transitions like that and make them sound good but you've managed to do it really well.
Like the big pads that come in around the three minute mark.
This is a pretty epic track.
Well done.

on We Find Our Way by brillbilly
That running water sound is making me need to go and point percy at the porcelain.
This has got a bit of a jean michelle jare kind of feeling to it. Very futuristic and well layed out.
Beautifully mixed as well.
I actually ordered a copy of Magix today because i like your productions so much. It's weird how different DAWS produce different results, but the results you get are always bang on.
This was an absolute pleasure to listen to and it needs to be listened to again.

It's always good to be diverse (i've not been doing that much lateley)
This is great when the beat kicks in. Sounds as good as other peoples rock tracks who do them all the time.
Where did you get the vocal from?
Brilliant stuff.

Nice up tempo piece of dance music. I like the way it changes as it goes along. It's completely crazy. Did you enter this into the origional song competition? If not you should have done.
Bhangra Techno works pretty damn well.
Glad i stoppped by.
The vocal samples are great.

This is really good mate. I like the track, it sounds like you've spent a lot of time on it with all the little sneaky bits here and there.
It's pretty hectic and i like the way you've blended that vocal in.
Good work.

on Dancing To The War Drums by crucethus
This is pretty twisted mate. Like the percussion and that lead synth is fat.
What i like about your tracks is your always changing what goes on in a rather unique way. The way it drops into the gunfire bit is excellent and then back to that manic pitch bend bass.
It never gets boring, There's a theme throughout but the vibe just keeps changing.
Good work here mate.
FR
crucethus
crucethus replied 10th May 2014 - 11 years ago
Thank you FR, coming from you that is quite the compliment as I respect your work greatly (esp the nineties vibe stuff) I always want to give the listener a new twist and I have been bored for a long time with the Verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus stuff. That’s for punters and Teenies! So I always look for new twists and turns and contrasts. I hope I delivered with this one..ehh?

on Heavy electronics by johnnyproducing
Couldn't resist stopping by as you last track was so good. This is prettty f***3d up stuff. Your tunes are really intricate which aint a bad thing.
I'd say it's leaning more towards dubstep than electronic, but whatever you want to call it it sounds like you've taken your time with it. Personally i can't be arsed making a tune that detailed, but thats probably why i think your stuff is better than mine.
Needs a bit of length added to it as it's not often i'm stll typing when the tracks finished.
Hey ho! Good work all the same.
FR
johnnyproducing
johnnyproducing replied 8th May 2014 - 11 years ago
Haha sorry to disappoint you, this track is another caliber then last one. Though if it makes you happy I got some stuff coming up that is more like last tune, so you will see it appear in a while.
Mm yeah it has some dubstep in it to the end part, but it is more of a mixture of things.
I think I will try to create something dubstep like with violin sounds in it soon since I liked how this drop turned out for a bit. But then I will add in longer sequences of violin playing through so it will become more melodic.

if you want I can upload a piano tune that I have done
so tell me haha

on Eyesand by Cyberliam
Liking this one, It reminds me of Alladin on the sega megadrive (the level where your in the creepy dungeon with the exploding skeletons etc...)
I'm a sucker for arabian style licks so instantly i liked this. There's a lot of suspense in the track and you're kept hanging for the next bit. The bassline reminds me a little of something Static Nomad would come up with. Well it did but then you changed the vibe of the track just over half way through.
I'm thinking of that track i played of yours the other day (the old one) It's like you're a whole new musician since then because this is quality stuff and i'm glad i dropped in and listened to it.

on Lies Original Mix by L0neW0lf
Like this a lot but there's a bit of unwanted crackling going on here.
The sounds are all good and the track is totally mental.
I didn't rate dubstep all that much until i tried to make it and it's hard as f**k so kudos to you mate. (Well kudos as long as you didn't steal it as Jaketer 985 said. If that is the case i'd take it down because Shan will ban you if it is ripped off)
Otherwise damn good track.

on See Under Sea - Feat Sanna Hartfield by midiman007
I'm not a fan of pop music really so i'm stepping out of my comfort zone a little here.
Everything sounds well mixed and on point. You used the vocal well & i like it when the guitar solo comes in at the middle of the track. It adds another layer of depth.
This was a pleasant tune to listen to.

on Reach Part 2 by gfischer0
Nice use of instruments in reverse. The beat sounds nice and clean. Not sure about that arpegiator thing, I think that riff would sound better just as a plain note rather than stuttering it. Just my opinion.
All the rest of it sounds fine to my ears but then i'm no expert on chill out so what do i know?
Anyway, it was a pleasant listen and thats what counts.
Apart from the stuttering synth i liked it.

Well i always enjoy a bit of a banger so i thought i'd check this out.

on Golden Melodies by DjRymZ
This tune's got some great hooks going on in it.
Loving that main melody and the spacey noises. It's kind of crowded around the low mids and could use either a bit of compression or EQ (Those sort of kick drums are always a pain in the a$$. I try and keep away from them as they clash with the bass)
Other than that i thought this was a blinding track and i'm glad i stopped by for a listen.

Another fine piece of ambience is tingling my ear drums. The mood is kind of spacey which i like.
Very dreamy and swirly pads which merge with the tapping keys perfectly.
How you doing anyway? I seem to remember you weren't to good last time we spoke.
I hope things have improved for you.

I had my first attempt at making dubstep the other day and it was utter dog sh1t!!
This on the other hand is pretty good. You nailed those crazy dubstep basses and you got that sexy french rap thing going on. the "la la la la la" is quite amusing and perhaps you should take that out?
Not bad for a first attempt and kudos for having a crack at it.

F**k me sideways! How much attention has this track recieved?

Very nice review my friend! It was influenced by one of the darkest times in my life, and that's actually saying a lot I've come to realize. I think it turned out as good as it did because I waited until things were looking up to write and record it. Doctorcatface did the hard work, so he deserves much credit for this! This song scares my wife, and with good reason. Thanks much for the support!
