I love it Jonathan...sorry it's taken me so long to leave feedback but you know how it is.
I think there probably are parts of my vocals that sounded off key but that is more likely to be me than you. I would really like to hear some of the vocals layered more...kind of wall of sound type thing if you know what I mean, but on the whole this would not sound out of place Friday or Saturday night in the club.
Hey thanks for using my vocal loop. Sorry it's taken me so long to get here to listen to it.
I really like the industrial graininess of the track and thought the piano was a nice touch.
Listening to this track I got the feeling that you could very easily take this into DnB or even dubstep territory...and in fact it does go there doesn't it...about half way.
And yes, you're right, I go about halfway into DnB territory and maybe a quarter way into dubstep... do you think the track would be better if I went all the way into one of those genres? I'd greatly welcome any suggestions you have.
Sorry about the faulty link; afraid I changed my username on SoundCloud shortly after I posted my responses to you, not realizing that it'd negate my links. Here's the proper one, if you'd like to hear the full 320kBps version: http://snd.sc/zpWb59
Thanks again for your reply; I'm terribly glad that you enjoyed the track, but again, I'm very open to any suggestions for improvement!
Thank you Elaine, you know I try my best with everyone I collab with.I've said it many times before that If you put the "song" first it will always be a win win for everyone involved.
Thanks for listening and your comment,I always appreciate your reviews!
Allen.
'Funky Mama' sounds like a pseudonym I would be proud to take on.
This is a great track...with that driving bassline in particular.
I'm so glad I stopped by to give this a listen...it's put a big smile on my face and made my afternoon.
Where's the "add to favourite" button when you need it? :)
Glad you enjoyed this one and thanks for the comments. Was a fun tune to put together and happy it put a smile on your face. Your Funky Brother Filaofsoul
The song sounds good...and reminds me a bit of the some the Christmas tracks the Jackson 5 used to do...Christmas didn't feel like Christmas in my house until we played the Christmas in Motown LP whilst putting up the decorations.
This track could be played while they were doing their shenanigans.
I agree with PBJ about the intro needing to be longer, but other than that you've got the potential for a kick ass track dude.
Thanks Elaine! I miss this place, really. A pretty invaluable resource. I've learned SO much from the Loop and the people that it's comprised of. But, thank you for listening and taking the time to comment! :)
Yes Eshar I used FL Studio for this. Thank you for your kind comment, please make that review to post it on my site, I will add a link you your profiles on Looperman and Soundcloud, thanks!
thank you so much, this is what i came up with when i was on vacation to lake erie, my first try at the keyboards, and happy birthday to you also, thanks for the listen!
I liked the comments that you made to Stephanie and find that a really interesting way to look at working with a remix when it comes to vocals. Nothing can ever be totally perfect in my opinion and a lot of what we hear is subjective I think. I love the beat though definitely.
So you are my first official review with the site back up.
Definitely love the DnB and feel it edges towards dubstep a little...which is also very cool. Welcome back Alen! :)
For some reason I've never heard Twanna's vocals until now.
Very powerful and soulful I have to say.
You always underplay your part in a collab which I like; modesty is a great thing...However, you are a great talent both in my eyes and ears.
Top notch collab :)
Ah I like your story of how you came to find this site and my vocals...I'm certainly glad that you could include them in your song.
Great all round production I have to say...and your lyrics are constructed and delivered very well.
Thanks for letting me hear the song. I really enjoyed it.

It's sounding good to my ears. So I'm a bit lame on the suggestions to an extent. I personally don't hear anything wrong.

Did you see the review I left for your clepto loops...an answer to the question about FB or Gmail would be nice.
The track I made is practically finished but when I was listening a little while ago I thought I would adjust the arrangement slightly.
Anyway...thanks for keeping this version of the track up. :)
