I liked this dude...in fact I am pressing play again.

Yummmy...those are rhodes right? That sub-bass is awesome to my ears...it always intrigues me how I respond to the most unusual sounds.

I love that the track has a kind of Oriental sound about it. I bet you watch a lot of Japanese anime.

All rhodes.. lol.. if I don't have a guitar it's rhodes..

Yea the sub-bass/yawning.. totally stole from the Glitch Mob and Prefuse 73.. I am at 110 BPM, but I wants to somehow make the breakdown segue into the 160/170 BPM.. it should be cool beans.. if only I had .. some sort of "hook".

It is basically Cmin but sorta whatever lol.

Sorry I have been a shitty friend =/

You've still got plenty of trance influence in this which makes for a really interesting mix with the dubstep...I like it. Also your avatar is awesome lol. :)

Loving the rich sound of the keys...you messed real good with the piano.
I would label this more RnB than hip hop but still it's all good.
Chilled and mellow, a really easy listening piece. Very nice.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned Beastie Boys yet, but this kind of reminds me of them...your beat especially...it has a really great vibe about it.

I need to lay down in a darkened room...or get better glasses...bah. Totally mis-read what you put, but anyway...this is a fantastic track and made me run fast. :)

There may be all kinds of references and influences that you can point to, but seriously without blowing smoke up your "rrrrs" I hear you in there...and that's good!

on Farewell my love ft Eshar by SinThaSizah
Thank you for using my vocals. I'm sorry to hear about you and your girl. Sometimes things aren't meant to be, and doubtless that truth isn't much comfort, but something that is of comfort is music...I'm glad you could let music try to heal your pain.

All the best

You've certainly got all the right ingredients here. I understand what others have said about the drums, but actually I don't mind that they aren't too far forward.
This is a great song...love your vocals.

Thanks very much, I'm trying to work on the singing. It's very new to me so the encouragement is helpful. I do agree with most that the drums need to come up and bass would help.

Thanks

on 1st Mix by Ryuu
I'm a big fan of ejay and have all their sample libraries.

So you used the ejay mixer to make this track or some other software?

It's pretty decent for a first track. Keep up the good work, just watch the volume in places, but there again it's techno which you're supposed to play loud :)
Ryuu
Ryuu replied Unknown
wow really can i have the sample libraries?? i need it man.
i purely used eJay Techno 4 lol... hmm yeah in my first track i didn't notice bout volume or yeah anything like that hahaha could u give me another tips on eJay?

Hi,
thanks for giving me the heads up about the latest version of this track. It sounds fantastic certainly.

It's been an interesting musical journey, and even though we all started from different places the final destination is certainly one we can all be proud of, and it's a very fitting tribute to little Matthew.

How very true.
It took more than a year to get to this final version. But now it's done and I am so pleased.

Glad you found these...I mean even though there is definitely that rock sound I think I would also describe this as trance on steroids lol.
Wonderful ethereal sounds. I have to download this before you realise you've allowed it for download and change the setting :)

on JAZZY SOUNDS ft Ratty by SERGEJ77
The title drew me in definitely as I am increasingly appreciating jazz more and more. I think this certainly does have jazzy elements, but it actually has that "world music Sound" about it too and that's very cool.

on Children of the Spirit by Kenikos
Hi Ken,
thank you for using the vocal. It's one that doesn't get much use sadly, so it was great to discover that you liked it enough to put it in your track.
It's a shame the tag system isn't available yet because I think this is definitely prog rock and a pretty fine example too.

Once again thanks :)

Hi. Elaine,
I modified this track a little bit today to make it a little more "mystical." The steel guitar I had in it just did not sound right to me. I also changed it in a few other places to take out some clutter and to make the sound clearer. I hope it's a little better now. Thank you again for the poem and thanks for listening. -Ken

on Breathing Dust in the Sarcophagus of God by alividlife
I seriously think you should put together a demo for Dani. Something like a 4 track EP. I mean I know you have lots of material to choose from, but maybe you should pick 4 of your faves and remix them...I dunno even do some mashups...you know?
You got too much talent to waste it dude. I know you hate all the promo thing, but creativity is meant for sharing and inspiring other people is a wonderful thing.

on We Are Taking Over by Music4Life
There's always something quite catchy about your tracks...I always find myself nodding my head along to the beat.

I like how you never constrain yourself to one genre within the track. I love the horns/trumpets which kind of gives a jazzy feel to the piece.
Music4Life
Music4Life replied Unknown
Thank you for replying. Most of the time, I find myself combining more than 1 genre together when I create my tracks. I like the trumpets I used, they are my favorite that I used.
