You actually reversed the entire song wav file? What an interesting concept. Yes it has a deadmau5 feel to it specially at the intro sounds like one of his chord progressions. That is amazing. I definitely think you should flesh this out into a full song. I would love to hear the result. As it is, it is pretty cool progressive house.
Thanks, Ella! Yeah, basically I reversed the entire song, cut out the best sections, mashed them together, then added two different EQ bands on it. Cut off the highs on one and the lows on another, added a filter along with a few other effects, then automated everything to my liking. It was definitely something I haven't tried before and I had some fun with it. I'm definitely going to experiment more, who knows what we might discover next. When things cool down at work, I'll definitely come back to finish this. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it. :)
I really liked this tune Wayne. Instruments sound great and the story is very entertaining. Nice vocals. The whole song was great. Sounds like blues to me tho, has that flavor to it.
Do you still splice fiber optic? =)
Yeah, nice dubstep. Really cool effects. The intro was really good. Great listen. Regarding titles, I'd be the wrong person. Always have a lot of trouble with that myself.
Thanks, it's all about 30 loops from right here. I just used some filters in my search and downloaded the first page or so of loops, tuned em all, leveled and arranged them, and mixed them with some experimental (to me) routing and mastering choices.
OMG mildperil, as soon as I hit play I was completely blown away! Your vocals are gorgeous. What a wonderful voice. And your piano is not far behind. This amazingly beautiful. Glad I stopped by to listen to it. Thanks for sharing.
Well I don't know how I missed this before but it's brilliant. So beautiful, relaxing and nostalgic. I am really into this sort of sound lately. Been trying to learn to produce mellow relaxing lofi tunes. This captures that feeling exactly!
Hi kody, this is actually a lot of fun, well produced and sounds really good. The only thing is that it doesn't sound like house to me. It is dubstep, like Skrillex. :P
Incredibly relaxing and beautiful. I particularly loved the violin, specially the part just before the middle of the song. But the whole thing was a journey.
Epic track reminiscent of DJ Tiesto and the like but with a very personal style. Can imagine a big rave going on while listening to this. Great listen.
Paz y salud.
Thanks for the comment I just checked out Boris Brejcha at Grand Palais in Paris on you tube he is awesome thanks for pointing me at him. Best regards robbie
You are right. The vocals were a tad too loud before. What a difference it made to bring them down! Now it's perfect, beautiful! Love the texture on this tune. May I ask what modular synth(s) you are using?
Softube modular (just on sale for US 89 and I bought the
4ms Spectral Multiband Resonator (SMR) on sale fior US 23 - both fit in a vst eurorack and can be used with softube delay, reverb ...
Bloody complicated but not knowing what Im doing means lots of experimentation so can be interesting
Beautiful and heartfelt. Could be a movie theme since it has such a dramatic and intensely emotional feel to it. The sound and production quality is gorgeous. Great work!
The original orchestrated early work I did on the track sounded pretty terrible, but my friend Salvo needed SOMETHING to work with to duet with Sara's vocals. Afterwards I reworked the track. I'm glad it turned out pretty good in the end. :-)
sirefox, que muchos comentarios! Esta es una pista de Agosto pero salio en mi lista de musica aconsejada y me puse curiosa. Que bonita es esta progressive house. El chord progression (no se esa palabra) y el pad. Me encanta. Gracias por compartir tu musica.
Gracias a ti amigo mío, por escuchar mi pista. Es importante para mi, por tu enorme calidad como productor de música house. Que tengas una buena noche compañero. Paz y salud.

Do you still splice fiber optic? =)
A large majority of rock songs use a blues progression like I did here. There is a blues feel in that regard.
No, I don't splice fiber optics anymore, I am retired.
