I think the most impressive thing about you is your ability to navigate any genre, and do it like an expert. There really is something to be said for a lifetime of dedication to a craft, and this track beautifully illustrates that.

What a wonderful listen. Well done!!!

Hey my friend, I stopped by for a piano lesson, and ended up rocking out, haha. What a great track with some absolutely stellar guitar work. Hell, all of it is just top notch. I could hear the Skid Row "influence" but I also thought this one had a bit of "Journey" thrown in for good measure.

No matter, this was an amazing tune. Timeless.

And it proves that good music can transcend eras and genres. If it's good, it's good.

And this one is great!!!!

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. The truth is that it is a song that gave many problems until it sounded like I wanted, so I am very grateful for the comments.

on Digital Aboriginalism - Osmosis and the Veil by n0mad23
So I am back for another pass at this one. I did not realize it was part of a set :) I just finished listening to the other panels and this is just marvelous how you 3 have put all of this together into one comprehensive, cohesive story.

Being the glutton that I am, it would be wonderful to have this trilogy as one long, wonderful track :) Like a giant audio mural painted by 3 different masters.....especially now that I see/hear how all of this is connected (I'm old and slow, so you will have to forgive me).

This one is even better the second time around!

Well done gents.

Hey Bear - thanks for that suggestion on putting them all together as a single track. Changes the whole listening experience! I've had very fortunate collaboration experiences on this site now, and am all ready looking forward to my next excursion. Cheers!

First, this had to be a beast to mix because of all the elements you have going on.....you have something occupying just about every frequency. Unbelievable how well balanced this is.

I like music that makes me think. This did just that.

I'm intrigued with this project - it certainly has three really talented people working on it.

Well done. I'm off to "view" the next panel of the painting.

Actually... it took less time than I had originally thought it would. As far as the music making you think... that's cool. It's layered with so many angles, that everyone is bound to visualize something and/or feel a certain vibe. Thanks for the review and the listen.

Peace

I loved this, right up until the break at the 1:23 mark when the piano came in.....not sure of that belonging with the rest of the song. But what do I know?

Other than that, a really nice effort.

Interesting, it has a frenetic pace. It would be good to hear if you could take it somewhere else, maybe slow the tempo down for a while for a verse, then bring it back up for the hook. Nice start.

on Mista And Mhyst - AWAKENING Unedited by HimNameMista
Simply outstanding. Seriously this is the fusion of great rap and great vocals by Mhyst.

Backing track is just spot on as well. This is really nice work from start to finish. As good as anything I've heard on the radio in a while.

Well done and added to favorites.

Ah, Trax, I came by looking for inspiration and as always, you do not disappoint.

Another genius track. Bass is just sick, panning is just sick, the whole track is just so good........

You rule man. Is there any genre you can't do? Production is flawless as usual. Everything sitting perfect, like the movement on a Rolex.

Outstanding effort, but I expect nothing less than the best from you. Faved.

And thanks for the inspiration :)

DAIM!!!!! This one needs to come with a warning to watch the subs, hahaha. Man, I've got stuff falling off the walls all over the place, hehe. The wife came out and wanted to know if we were in the middle of an earthquake.

I really like the brass in the middle of this one (the single notes from the 'bone section). Great job with the orchestration.....if you ever decide to get out of hip hop, you could probably score some tracks for orchestra.

Nice work my friend. Really nice work.

Keep making the hits.

on what the haterz talkin bout by 67Ecosse
Nice job! I like the use of the choir. It kind of lulls the listener into this calm state and then wham, here comes the synth and the beat really drops.

Nice mix too. It had the paintings on the wall rocking, haha. The wife will think I had a party or something.

Outstanding effort.

on POV by Tacatta
I have to agree, this reminds me of the early days of Kansas, when Lynn Meredith was the lead singer.

Really love the southern rock feel on this one. I didn't even notice the drums missing.....guess that shows the vocals and guitar work were plenty strong enough to carry the song.

And you carried it well. Outstanding effort. Thanks for sharing.

Anytime someone asks me who is the best on Looperman for metal, I send them your direction. You set a very high standard in all that you do. You are also a bit of a visionary and this track shows why.

This is fusion people can sink their teeth into. Massive track from a guy with massive talent.

Faved. And I loved the break at the 1:40 mark...it allowed me to catch my breath, haha.

Fantastic work, FANTASTIC!!!!!!

I liked the first track of yours so much, I thought I would stick around for seconds.

I'm sure glad I did.

Are you sure you aren't someone famous????

You should be!

This is fantastic. The mix is just flawless, as are your vocals. You have mad skills and it is obvious you know your way around a mixing board.

Another straight to favorites. Beautiful work.

on Make Ya Smile by HaruTune
Haro, another great tune, with a superb mix my friend. This one, as your others, is crisp and clear and really well done.

I do like the trumpet you have playing throughout. It gives it the jazz club feel.

I'd say this is fusion at its finest.

Well done.

Wow, what a great voice.

You have a nice warm tone, great pitch, absolutely beautiful.

The track has a lot of potential as the others have said, but I agree with Elaine. I would consider just leaving it as it is, an unplugged version.

This really is outstanding, just the right amount of verb on the vocals. Really really nice.

Had to add to favorites :) Thanks for sharing.

Now this is the way to start my day. As I look out my back window, I have a wonderful view of the desert. As your music plays, I can see the different shadows move to the beat of your music as the sun rises higher in the desert sky.

It is a magnificent combination.

This is a wonderful track. Faved for sure.

One word comes to mind when listening to this one....SMOOTH...

There are many reasons you are considered one of the best on the Loop, and this track illustrates exactly why.

Great composition, great musicianship, great production, great everything.

Fabulous work by both of you....and don't worry about that transition, it actually didn't detract from the track.

Bravo maestro!

I have to agree with Coney. Somebody has got to notice you at some point. Your flow is as good as any I've heard in a long time. This is just an outstanding track from start to finish. Love the flute....really sets things up nicely.

On a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being great, this is an 11 my friend.

on When You Leave - SpellJammer ft Slap Johnson by AllenV
Wow, what a collection of talent. Here we have three of my favorite musicians all assembled for one terrific track. Allen, your guitar work reminds me of George Benson on this one. Slap is exceptional as always, and Dylan is, well, amazing.

Not enough superlatives for this track. You guys need to hit the road....I'll drive :)

Haha! We'll find another driver, so why not join the band!how cool would that be,all of us on one stage.
You know that's the only thing I miss after these collabs,is wondering "what if"...I can see it in my mind and have the dream that one day one of us wins the big multi million jackpot and brings us all together live.I would be in heaven and wouldn't think twice!
George Benson...hmm..I'll take it!He was the first smooth jazz guitarist I ever listened to,it's very nice to be in the same review as him :)

Thanks Bear,
