Nice job! I like the use of the choir. It kind of lulls the listener into this calm state and then wham, here comes the synth and the beat really drops.
Nice mix too. It had the paintings on the wall rocking, haha. The wife will think I had a party or something.
I have to agree, this reminds me of the early days of Kansas, when Lynn Meredith was the lead singer.
Really love the southern rock feel on this one. I didn't even notice the drums missing.....guess that shows the vocals and guitar work were plenty strong enough to carry the song.
And you carried it well. Outstanding effort. Thanks for sharing.
Hey thanx a million Bear!Wow I haven't heard the name Lynn Meredeth in a long time!Would love to get my hand on some early Kansas stuff with Lynn,I've heard of him but never heard his vocals.
Oh yes. Wayne is very special, dominates an endless variety of instruments and has a special sensitivity to music. I only asked for help ... he did the rest. Wayne improved it all ... everything. I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for having heard it, and thanks for your gratifying words.
Anytime someone asks me who is the best on Looperman for metal, I send them your direction. You set a very high standard in all that you do. You are also a bit of a visionary and this track shows why.
This is fusion people can sink their teeth into. Massive track from a guy with massive talent.
Faved. And I loved the break at the 1:40 mark...it allowed me to catch my breath, haha.
Now this is the way to start my day. As I look out my back window, I have a wonderful view of the desert. As your music plays, I can see the different shadows move to the beat of your music as the sun rises higher in the desert sky.
I have to agree with Coney. Somebody has got to notice you at some point. Your flow is as good as any I've heard in a long time. This is just an outstanding track from start to finish. Love the flute....really sets things up nicely.
On a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being great, this is an 11 my friend.
Wow, what a collection of talent. Here we have three of my favorite musicians all assembled for one terrific track. Allen, your guitar work reminds me of George Benson on this one. Slap is exceptional as always, and Dylan is, well, amazing.
Not enough superlatives for this track. You guys need to hit the road....I'll drive :)
Haha! We'll find another driver, so why not join the band!how cool would that be,all of us on one stage.
You know that's the only thing I miss after these collabs,is wondering "what if"...I can see it in my mind and have the dream that one day one of us wins the big multi million jackpot and brings us all together live.I would be in heaven and wouldn't think twice!
George Benson...hmm..I'll take it!He was the first smooth jazz guitarist I ever listened to,it's very nice to be in the same review as him :)
Oh man, I couldn't hit the favorite button fast enough on this one. Listening to your work is like a master's class in production. Dude, you have mad mad skillz....genius is the word that comes to mind.
Beautiful track...almost too pretty to put lyrics on :)
Stellar work as usual. Always setting the standards for the rest of us.
Really nice song. Love the chord progression on the song. The vocals are good too.
A little advice on the vocals. You have a good voice, but you seem like you may be holding back a bit (maybe you worry about bothering the neighbors). My advice would be to sing this like you would sing it driving in your car. In other words, if you had this song playing on the radio and you were singing along to it while driving down the road....sing it like that when you record. I think you will surprise yourself.
You have mad raw talent, and it's time to take it to the next level. The heck with the neighbors ;)
Really, really nice. Outstanding flow on the lyrics and Yesh always has the best beats on the planet. I also think you should be rich by now and I could drive you around the country in the Bus :) I loved this. Wish it was a little longer, but I'm greedy that way.
thank you. im not concern with the riches though. i do this for fun, but if it comes my way i wont turn it down lol. the longer version is in the making. just have to finish writing up the lyrics for the second verse, and a friend of mine wants to add a third verse to it. he's pretty new at the whole music thing but he's getting better. so yeah. hopefully it will come out as dope as i want it to. ty for the review
I am so deeply flattered by your comments. They actually brought a tear to my eye. I am so grateful to be able to share my work with you all and have it appreciated the way it is. I just started singing so who knows what the future will bring. All of my tracks are done using loops and not construction kits...I mix and match. I used to want to DJ when I was younger so I have a good ear for where things go and what types of beats go with what. As far as radio play, I'm being played on Jango...but that doesn't count...lol :) Thank you again and I'd love to work with you if you have something you'd like to collaborate on.
I'm not sure which I enjoy more, your music or your track descriptions. Both are marvelous and both are an educational opportunity.
This one had to be difficult to mix with so much going on, yet it is crystal clear and everything is just so well placed.
You just keep getting better and better. I believe that is because you constantly look for more - you are a real student of this thing called music. When you discover something, you are more than happy to wrap it up with a bow and share it with all of us - with your descriptions and your music.
You are a treasure my friend. Thanks for all you do, and for this magnificent song. Straight to favorites.
I suspect you like my stuff because like you I come at this from a tradition of beating on skins, plucking skins, and blowing across holes in wood. Olde Skool Jamming. I wish I'd known about this site and you when I was still in Arizona, as I think you'd be a blast to sit down and jam with! Thanks for the kind review, and shoot me an email with your address if you'd like any of my stuff for your collection! Thanks Bear!
Hey my friend, I love what you did with that loop :) Great stuff. Very nice mystery on this one, very suspenseful. Love the pads and your dynamics are spot on. The subtle strings at the 3:25 mark were a stroke of genius.
Nicely done. This is definitely a keeper. Not sure why over half the people who listened downloaded it, but only 3 commented. Come on people, if you like it enough to download, at least drop a thank you.
Haha thank you very very much! Ive been using a lot of your loops but cant remember exactly which ones are yours lol! I appriciate the review, and im glad you liked the strings. I was fairly fonf of that myself. Glad you think more should comment, I feel the same way. Ha.
Man, is there anything you can't do? You know, if all hip hop was like this, they would corner the market and pretty much eliminate the rest of the competition. Hopefully the peeps will take notice and figure out that all they need to make great hip hop is a GREAT GUITAR player....
Man, I think I'll sell my equipment, haha. Maybe just give it to you so it can be played instead of abused.
This is seriously so good. Faved and I have to download it for my Bilbozo folder on my IPod.

You have a nice warm tone, great pitch, absolutely beautiful.
The track has a lot of potential as the others have said, but I agree with Elaine. I would consider just leaving it as it is, an unplugged version.
This really is outstanding, just the right amount of verb on the vocals. Really really nice.

There are many reasons you are considered one of the best on the Loop, and this track illustrates exactly why.
Great composition, great musicianship, great production, great everything.
Fabulous work by both of you....and don't worry about that transition, it actually didn't detract from the track.
Bravo maestro!

1 - The track is going to sound like it was recorded in a studio.
2 - The mix will be perfect.
3 - The song will be spot on no matter what the genre.
4 - The song will be entertaining from start to finish.
You did not disappoint on this one. You nailed it. All it needed was James Brown or Maurice White jumping on board.
Well done, Ken. Absolute perfection.

Really good. Bordering on exceptional. First off, I'm impressed that you were able to put all of this together out of loops.
Your voice is special. You have great control, and a warm tonal quality....like you are wrapping your listeners in a warm blanket with your voice.
Great mix. You really have great pitch as well. Why are you on the Loop and not on the radio????
It would be an honor to work with you someday....if I can find any material that is a high enough standard to match your talent.

However, you are different and I like different. The intro was just sick, hahaha. Just about spit my drink all over the place, ahaha.
Great flow, great lyrics, and I really like the stripped down beat. There's plenty of room to hear the lyrics, which is why we listen :)
Got to give it to you my friend. Great track. Keep doing it your way.
