Thank you so much for the kind review. I'm so glad you like the song. I really needed to hear this right now, so bless you. I intend to go check out some of your creations. Take care,
S
now this just made my day, my week, my month.... so much goes into every production... especially this one. so to get a review like this is priceless.. it really up lifts me and makes me even more passionate about creating more! thank u again.
Oh man, this is a great song. Great lyrics, with one hell of a professional mix. I had to laugh when it first started...it sounded like a commercial for one of those old rock and roll FM stations we have down here in the Las Vegas area, haha.
Outstanding effort from all involved. This is a 10 for sure.
But if you have to classify it, I'd put it in the rock category. I know it was only a one minute snippet, but I would love to hear where you go with it next.
It looks like I'm late to the party. It also looks like this is one of your first songs and it is a pretty good start young Jedi. The timing issues will work themselves out.
Actually, there is a thing in music called "syncopation." A syncopation or syncopated rhythm is any rhythm that puts an emphasis on a beat, or a subdivision of a beat, that is not usually emphasized. A quick search on the Internet should get you a lot of information on syncopation and why it's cool to use in music.
The great thing about all of this is you are only 13, yet you are producing some pretty good music. Just keep at it. I started at the age of 5, and here I am, 53 years later and I'm finally starting to figure it all out (I majored in music and graduated from college with a music degree).
Congratulations on a good start here on the Loop. Just stay with it.
Thanks I always read carefully coments like this because they're helpful. Yeah, I've not been in to music for long, only for a few years, but I'm glad to already get soo much coments. Thanks a lot for listening.
I've been away for a while, but it seems like I reviewed one of the first tracks you put on this site....man, you were good then, but this is fantastic.
I would also say I picked the right track to come back to. This is nothing short of absolute sensory brilliance. Seriously, one of the best listens I've had in a while.
I see Bill referenced Pink Floyd. I think they would have been honored to have this in their library.
Barry! Oh man, I'm glad to see your back and more importantly still - alive and kicking!
Yeah, you were the very first person to review my first track when I joined. I actually met Simon (ensam) when you deleted your account shortly after. What a trip - I've become a mod since then.
Thanks for the kind review, and especially for alerting me to your return. I've been away for about 3 months, so this is a delightful surprise indeed! Thank you!
Iroc, this is really good. If this was set to download, you would have already had 25 people download it. Great chilled beat, and I love that chord progression ;)
Looks like you are two for two on the tracks. I had to add this one to my favorites as well. Great work my friend.
I have to agree with the others, this is special work. Outstanding composition. If you used all loops for this, you are a genius. If not, you are one hell of a musician. Either way, this is a great track.
Outstanding production as well. I love the balance on this one, and the clarity when the guitars come in. Nice that everything sits so well in the mix.
Man, you just have this genre nailed down. Your production is top notch, beautifully balanced. I haven't heard the original, but I would venture to say this one is just as good if not better.
The bar is set really high with this one. I don't have a lot of trance on my IPod, but I'm adding this one for sure. Downloaded and faved my friend.
sorry for the late reply Bear, but I have been on a short holiday........this one just had its first airplay last Monday night on Fresh FM here and the DJ has asked me back for a 2nd guest appearance on Monday 7th of Feb, so I am looking forward to the opportunity to get about an hour of airplay for my tunes :D
BTW ipods were made for Trance!
Thanks for your kind words Bear and I hope all is well with you....keep rockin

Space, the final frontier....and I'm not talking about Captain Kirk, haha. I'm talking about a great mix that has a bunch of stuff going on but each and every element is set exactly in the mix where clarity rules.
This is absolutely professional in every way. There are mixes on the radio that pale in comparison to this one.
Mad skills, mad mad skills. Well done!! Had to add this one to my favorites folder.
Thanks Bear. When artists with the level of talent you have leave that kind of feedback it truly means alot. I am truly humbled and honored to have a song in your faves...
I have to agree with the others. Absolutely killed this one my friend. Dump the autotune, you don't need it. You have mad skills that will stand any test. Really well done.
I really appreciate it. We probably won't end up using this song for anything as there is a much more positive focus on what we're doing these days. But in hind sight I agree with you on the autotune. Thanx for the insight
I was intrigued by my first listen to one of your tunes, so I had to sample another.
This is good.
This is really good. I can hear the MJ influence.
Damn, you are a great musician, with a terrific ear for putting the right instruments in the right spots. Love the mix on this one, everything is sitting nicely. Great vocal work (you have good range).
Love the bridge, it's a magical moment. You have mad skills and I'm going to have to add this one to my favorites. Outstanding effort.
Once again, thank you for the great feedback and your kind words :) I appreciate you adding the track as a favorite and for leaving me with encouraging words. I have 17 new tracks in the making right now that have all but the vocals laid down, so please feel free to come back and let me know what you think of them.
Mr. Severns, welcome to the Loop. Very nice work on this one. It is definitely current.
I will be honest, I'm not a fan of the effect on your vox on the verse, but man, when you kick in the real Mr. Severns at the chorus, your voice is exceptional.
This track is almost perfect, except for that small vox issue (sorry, it almost sounds muffled.....).
I could hear this one being played on the radio....one would think there are several artists who would jump all over this one.
All in all, I would say this is an excellent effort, well written, great instrumentation, a really nice track. Respect.
Thanks so much for your review, Bear :) I appreciate the feedback & advice concerning the vox on the verses. It is definitely one of my areas I am working on improving & updating my hardware eventually! Thanks again!
Nice job on this one Henrik. Has almost a chill vibe going to it, but I can also see someone like AJ doing a bit of RnB singing over it, or maybe even one of the great rappers on this site laying down some verse over it.
The fact it is so versatile means you might have an opportunity to get more than a few offers for collaborations.
Another really nice composition my friend. The mix sounds pretty good....you might try to widen out the drums a bit, throw a stereo effect on them.....but then again, my old damaged ear drums aren't what they used to be, haha.
I can hear the emotion in this one, something that is hard to convey as an artist. It's difficult at times to really put yourself out there and bare your soul. I think you did that on this one and you connected.
My only advice to you (and it is just a small detail). Watch your pitch on the vocals. Sometimes when people sing softly they have a tendency to go just a tiny bit flat on the notes. If you sing softly, make sure you are still breathing deeply and singing from your diaphragm (my college courses in vocal technique taught me that trick - it actually takes more effort to sing softly than loud).
You have a really nice quality and tone to your voice. Just use good technique when you sing and you will find yourself moving to the next level. Great job here. I look forward to more from you.
Nice composition, using a really nice chord progression. Love the arpeggios as well. That's the kind of stuff we all had to practice at one time and complained about it....then 40 years later (for me anyway) find out those little arpeggios are diamonds.
Really nice work. I enjoyed it a lot. By the way, the progression is F#minor - Dmajor - Amajor - G#major (for your future reference).
I actually think the different guitar textures add character to this one, and helps set it apart from the normal cookie cutter guitar tracks we hear from the guitar gods. Really nice job on this.
This is special, wonderful composition with really nice vocals. The mix is especially nice, great balance. I think what I like most about this one is the pacing on it. Uptempo, but not rushed. It's pretty amazing that you composed this out of loops. Much respect Vicen.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Well now I'm doing more compositions (I guess I'll upload for February), which I think I'm improving something in the composition and I think it follow this finish. It's about listening to a lot all the songs that I've done and adding and shaping sounds.
Thank you very much for having listened.
Damien, there is a reason you are one of the best when it comes to composing and producing House/Trance/Dance ... well, just about anything you do is just spectacular. This is no exception. Perfect mix. I'm listening on head phones and man, what a ride :)
You just keep setting the bar really, really high. It is like attending a master's class in production. Flawless and an 11/10 from me. Bravo.

nothing to hide behind. What you hear, is what you get.
In this instance, what we got was absolute brilliance and the kind of music born of cigarette smoke, gin, and sweat.
Bravo. Absolute genius.
