I figured since I was here I may as well wear out my welcome :)

I am reminded of Neil Young on this one.....you have similar vocal and guitar skills, which puts you in rare company.

Another 10 out of 10 on this one.

Thanks for letting me sit for a spell and thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.

on Youre The One by davepowell1
Well, sir, looks like you are two for two :) Another beautiful song....love the way your guitar complements your vocals.

I believe one of the hardest things to do is strip a song down, and get real personal and bare the soul so to speak. In this era of overproduced noise a song like this is a real treat to the ears and sensibilities.

Thanks for posting another beautiful work of art. Still wishing I had my favorite button, haha.

Stellar performance.

First off, welcome to the Loop.

Wow, great vocal work and really, really nice acoustic guitar. Looks like you have developed mad skills over the years. It's great to have someone of your abilities as a member.

I wish I had my old favorite button back (Looperman v.1)......those were the days.

Beautiful work, absolutely beautiful.

on Hydrocity - Jazzy Remaster by AoiHanasu
Download indeed!!! Wow, young lady, this was a pleasant surprise. Jazz is becoming an extinct form of music, but perhaps if more people could hear something this extraordinary, they just might believe that jazz is king (or in your case, queen).

Thanks so much for the download, and please keep up the exceptional work.

Wow and wow again!!!!!!

Really nice work. NV sent me this way, said you were related....I won't tell anybody if you don't, hahaha. Seriously, it looks like talent runs in the family. This one definitely has a soundtrack feel to it and that's a good thing. As far as the lyrics go....most lyrics make no sense to me anyway :)

Awesome work.

Thanks for the review... and NV has nothing but great things to say about your talent. I'm going check out your page now...

on Im Through Feat AllenV- Ratty-Shortbusmusic by MarieDailly
Very nice Marie :) This one has the old Motown sound to it, even has an analog feel to the mix (that's hard to do with digital stuff these days). For your first song on FL you are certainly setting the bar really high.

Nicely chilled (loved Allen's guitar work). Really a great tune to unwind with at the end of a long day.

Congratulations and a job well done!!!

Thanks Bear,
Im glad I got this one out from the murky recesses of my "brain" lol!
I just loved Allens guitar on it, even if he was cruel & sent me two solos to choose from! Not an easy choice!
Maybe once I have the older songs done, I can do something with the great music you sent me!!

Well, count me in as a fan :) Don't worry about the production side of things...there are plenty of people on the Loop who would be happy to help you with the mixes and masters. What is important is the content/material, and in that area you are way ahead of the curve.

Another fabulous song. It's a real pleasure to listen to your music. Outstanding effort.

Bravo maestro.

Hey Richie, I'm not sure how I missed this one either. I'm also not sure why only 2 comments on a great piece like this....Patricia does such a great job, but when you add your amazing musicianship - well it is absolutely magic. Love, love, love that guitar tone. Man, I would kill for tone like that. It is always a master's class in how things should be done when I drop by your place. Thanks for keeping me inspired and for sharing your great talents. And a huge thanks to Patricia for her generosity as well.

Hey Bear

Thanks for the kind words. I am always grateful for comments and although this track hasn't attracted many I'm still very pleased with it. When I heard Patricia's vocal line I was hooked! When she very kindly sent the three part as separate tracks I was completely smitten!

Glad you liked the guitar sound too and please, drop by anytime and we can swap notes on all kinds of stuff - that would be great!!

on I Cant - ft Patricia Edwards by AllenV
There are few things in life that are certain, but I can guarantee you that when you have SpellJammer, Patricia Edwards, Richie Winn, and AllenV all come together on a song it is going to be magnificent.

Allen, I'm at a total loss for words right now. Not much in this world renders me speechless, but this song did exactly that.

I am so happy you have it available for download. A huge tip of the hat to all involved. You all set the bar extremely high with this one.

Wonderful in every way. Thanks to all for sharing your talents with all of us. And for the download :)

Thank you so much Bear!
You know our collaborations come from the oddest circumstances.Spell had an original instrumental track,I added acoustic guitars,Pat sent vocals and Richie Mixed.
But the interesting thing about all of this is that it all came at very separate times.
Spell had his track for quite some time and I asked him if he had anything he was working on,he sent the track.A week later I added acoustic guitars and sent it back to Spell and he said "I wonder if Patricia would write some lyrics and do some vocals?".She did and we had a hard time mixing them in cause we're having daw problems so a couple of weeks later we ask Richie to mix for us..he wasn't even home and still pulled it off.I guess the point is that this never started out as a planned collab.

I added an intro after all else was finished so this didn't happen overnight and my gratitude goes out to all involved,I'm just as big of fan of them as you are of this track Bear, they represent what this site can do and the talent it brings together.

Thank you again for you're wonderful comments,it makes all the work part of music so very worth it.

Nicely done Dave. Just as skilled on six small strings as you are on 4 fat ones, haha. I have to say this was a bit like having Thomas Dutronc on the nylon. Absolutely stellar work. As good as your six string work is, I still love to focus on your bass work. Smooth, smooth, smooth.

This was a wonderful way to start my day, a great cup of coffee and an even better song. Thanks for that. I hope all is well.

I have to agree with SpellJammer, this one is definitely a 10 out of 10. Again, the musicianship, production, arrangement....everything is simply spot on.

I took full advantage of the download as well - thanks for that - and will happily play this one on the IPod (my wife is going to love this).

Outstanding!!! This mix is so crystal clear, even when I crank the volume up to 11....nice and crisp. This is as good as anything I've heard on the radio lately. Farisha has a wonderful voice, but it is especially nice in the hands of a pro like you.

Nothing to criticize here, this one is perfect.

Well done.

Hi Bear

It is always a pleasure having you stop by and write some comments. Thank you for your highly complimentary words and your support of our work.

I guess what is more pleasing for me with this track is I not currently at home so don't have access to my usual array of instruments and hardware. It's all been done on borrowed stuff!

Glad you enjoyed the song and thanks again. Hope all is well with you too.

Gray Floyd returns :) Very nice. Love the guitar work on this one and the chilled vibe. I just picked up a copy of Samplitude 11.5 Producer Edition and so far I'm really impressed. Looks like you have it pretty well figured out judging by this track.

Great work Carlos! Outstanding vibe that really plays well to Patricia's vocals. Stellar effort, reminds me of some of the great songs of the 70's.

The ending was a bit strange, haha, but it was different and that is good :) Another terrific song by two great artists.

Well done.

Thank you so much my dear friend for your review. I truly missed the Looper Community while I took my sabbatical. I need to do that sometimes to get a renewed perspective on things (music).

I shared this song with my mother a while back as I was compiling the music. It, at the time, only contained a scat vocal. She asked me to complete it and this is the outcome. We both were pleased with the outcome and I am so glad you are too.

Have a blessed week, my friend and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
